(To Quoc) - On weekends, the "Memory Crossroads" space welcomes many families bringing their children to participate in experiential activities. Many activities such as Memory Cinema, May Imprint Workshop, Brick Workshop, Puppet Workshop... are enthusiastically participated by families.

"Memory Crossroads" is part of the Creative Design Festival, designed around the Octagonal House in Ly Thai To flower garden.

On weekends, the space attracts many families to bring their children to participate in experiential activities such as Memory Cinema, May Imprint Workshop, Brick Making Workshop and Puppet Workshop here.

The event space becomes a bridge for parents to rediscover childhood memories and inspire creativity.

Children have the opportunity to let their imaginations soar in a limitless creative space.
The puppet workshop also attracts a large number of children. They color, cut out, and punch holes to create cartoon puppets similar to those of the 1960s and 1970s.

Associate Professor, Dr. Le Thi Kim Anh - member of the content production coordinator for the Hanoi Creative Design Festival 2024 - called for: "Coming to the festival, let's be open to let the "inner child" awaken and unleash the creativity in each person."

Ms. Nguyen Thuy Duong, Director of VPBank's Communications and Marketing Center, said that the activities in the program go beyond the framework of a normal cultural event. "This place becomes a living heritage academy. Heritage becomes a stop for adults and children to explore the creative journey of individuals and communities," Ms. Duong said.

During the event, Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong Ly (36 years old, Hoang Mai district) brought her 4-year-old child to play. She said that her child liked the printing of tile patterns on paper and mosaic tiles the most, so she was always hanging around the May Imprint Workshop and the Tile Assembly Workshop. "Playing together is fun, playing for free is even more fun," she said.

Many children then create their own stories with the puppets.

Playful activities spark creativity in children and evoke memories of the past for adults.

The “Crossroads of Memory” space has become a bridge for parents to find their childhood memories, to return to youth to stimulate and awaken the creativity in each person. As for children, the activities create conditions for their imagination to soar in a limitless creative space, where all ideas are respected and nurtured.

The Octagonal House is not only a heritage, but also a part of the event as a small cinema. Films such as "Deserving the Fox", "Son Tinh - Thuy Tinh", "Giant Hands"... help children better understand the cartoons their grandparents and parents used to watch. Through that, they can also know how Truong Qua and Ngo Manh Lan - two pioneering directors of the Vietnamese animation industry - created animated films with primitive technical conditions and many limitations in the past.

Many international tourists enjoy the experience at the "Crossroads of Memories" space.

Many young people after completing their work take pictures to show off on social networks.

"Crossroads of Memory" space for children to be more creative and cultivate love for traditional values.

Within the framework of the festival, the Children's Palace is arranged with a unique art complex and creative complex, divided into 3 thematic circuits including the Children's Palace as a memory exercise; Intergenerational Heritage and World Building and Play. In addition, this location also hosts 41 other exciting activities including displays, exhibitions, film screenings, and community creative experiences.
