Participating in the City-level 9th Grade Excellent Student Competition this year, there were 427 students registered to take the exam, with 497 students participating. They registered to take the exam in 7 subjects: Math, Natural Science , Literature, History and Geography, English, Informatics, Civic Education with a test time of 150 minutes . 19 morning exam rooms with 407 students taking the exam, 4 afternoon exam rooms for Informatics and the English speaking test with 90 students taking the exam.

The exam is organized to select and discover students' intellectual abilities, evaluate the quality of teaching and learning in each school in particular and the quality of key education in the city in general. In particular, the exam also selects a team of excellent students to participate in the provincial excellent student exam for grade 9. This is also an opportunity for the city's education sector to evaluate professional guidance and teaching quality, contributing to promoting the movement of good teaching and good learning in schools. /.
