(Fatherland) - Capella Hanoi is one of two Vietnamese representatives to receive the highest score, 5 stars, in the Forbes Travel Guide 2025 hotel awards scale.
The prestigious American travel guide Forbes Travel Guide has just announced the list of the world's top hotels in 2025 at the Star Awards ceremony in February. This is a prestigious star rating system in the tourism and hotel industry worldwide that has been around since 1958, similar to the Michelin Guide in the culinary industry, with a top secret scoring method from a team of appraisers. Experts from more than 80 countries will secretly stay and evaluate hotels according to strict standards, ensuring fairness and objectivity. Therefore, the Forbes Travel Guide Star Awards are one of the most prestigious awards, considered the "Oscars" of the hotel industry.
The 5-star rating is Forbes Travel Guide's highest ranking for hotels that are "truly outstanding, iconic, with first-class service and state-of-the-art amenities." This year, out of 2,187 accommodations mentioned, only 350 hotels and resorts worldwide were rated 5 stars. One of the two representatives from Vietnam is Capella Hanoi Hotel. This is also the first year Capella Hanoi has received this honor.

Second, the rooms here all have their own names, taken from famous opera artists, composers and designers of the golden age of Opera.
