On the evening of February 12, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long attended and awarded the Certificate of National Special Monument to the Tu Luong Xam relic cluster - the headquarters of Ngo Quyen in 938 in Hai Phong city. Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ho An Phong requested Hai Phong city and Hai An district to pay attention to developing a master plan for relic conservation; to set up boundary markers for the relic protection area in the field; to develop a plan to protect, restore and embellish the relic; and to implement the project to preserve the Tu Luong Xam Festival Heritage. Hai Phong city needs to continue to research, collect, excavate, conduct archaeology, and further clarify the history of the area where the relic is located, while improving the qualifications of cultural workers and staff, the role of authorities at all levels, communities, and cultural subjects in the work of preserving and promoting the value of relics, heritages, and festivals.
On the same day, Phuc Tho district (Hanoi city) solemnly held the ceremony to receive the National Intangible Cultural Heritage of Tuong Phieu Communal House Traditional Festival. Tuong Phieu Communal House (also known as Ca Communal House) located in Tich Loc commune, Phuc Tho district was built around 1430 and has undergone many renovations. Tuong Phieu Communal House worships 4 village tutelary gods, including: Three Saints Tan Vien and Quan Son Thanh Hoang. Representative of the Department of Cultural Heritage presented the National Intangible Cultural Heritage Certificate to representatives of the government and people of Tich Loc commune.
On the evening of February 12, the opening ceremony of Vietnam Poetry Day 2025 took place at Pham Thi Tran Theater, Hoa Lu, Ninh Binh with the participation of poets and writers of many generations and from many localities across the country. This is the first time Vietnam Poetry Day has taken place in Ninh Binh, after many years of being held in Hanoi.
