Duc Pho City Industrial Innovation Club was established in November 2024, with a provisional Executive Board of 4 members. To date, the club has 12 members.

"In 2025, Duc Pho City Innovation and Startup Club will continue to expand, recruit more members; open a store to display club members' products and OCOP products of Quang Ngai province. The club will maintain activities, strengthen member connections, exchange and discuss solutions to improve products and promote development."

Chairman of Duc Pho Town Innovative Startup Club Huynh Sang said that the goal of establishing Duc Pho Town Innovative Startup Club is to support and connect production and business entities in Duc Pho Town and organize exchanges with clubs in districts, cities in the province and neighboring provinces. From there, it contributes to raising the level of products in Duc Pho Town, helping entities build increasingly better quality products. “Duc Pho Town Innovative Startup Club is a trusted address to promote the spirit of entrepreneurship and career establishment; support local agricultural production and business units to find, expand markets and consume products. In addition, the club connects supply and demand to find stable output for agricultural products. At the same time, it creates connections, supports and helps union members, youth and people with ideas to start a business and start a business in Duc Pho Town. Through that, local startup models are connected to develop production and business, as well as promote innovative activities in the town," Mr. Sang shared.

Up to now, members of the Duc Pho Town Industrial Innovation Club have had products evaluated and recognized as OCOP products. Such as the Bay Day cake product of Mr. Pham Van Day, in Pho Thuan commune. From preserving and promoting the traditional cake making profession of his family, Mr. Day has developed a larger model. In 2022, the Bay Day cake product was recognized as a 3-star OCOP product. "I joined the club with the desire to share experiences, learn good things from other establishments and have the opportunity to bring the product further," Mr. Day shared.

Many effective models

Mr. Pham Mien, in Pho Ninh ward (Duc Pho town) developed the "2 Mien" sausage product model. Grasping the needs of the market, Mr. Mien's production facility has produced a variety of products such as pork sausage, pork sausage, beef sausage... under the name "2 Mien". To ensure product quality and safety, his facility has fully complied with production processes and product certification procedures. In 2024, "2 Mien" beef sausage and pork sausage products will be recognized as 3-star OCOP products. "For a long time, my facility has mainly served people in Duc Pho town. Recently, I have connected with the startup community of Duc Pho town, with the desire to bring products to consumption not only in Duc Pho town but also further, connecting with the startup community of Quang Ngai province", said Mr. Mien.

Ms. Ho Thi Len, in Pho Quang Ward (Duc Pho Town), started her business by growing mushrooms. At first, Ms. Len and her husband researched, learned and bought mushroom seeds to grow but were not successful. After joining a mushroom growing group and being shared experiences and guided on mushroom growing techniques, Ms. Len and her husband decided to borrow money from the bank to invest in purchasing equipment for mushroom growing, such as sawdust mixers, steamers, etc. Thanks to the supporting machinery and equipment, combined with a firm grasp of planting and care techniques, the mushrooms grown by Ms. Len's family always have high productivity. In the past three years, since starting to grow mushrooms, Ms. Len's family has earned nearly 100 million VND each year; at the same time, creating jobs for a number of local women. Thanks to strict adherence to the production process, Ms. Len's family's mushroom products are of guaranteed quality, trusted by customers in and outside the province, and therefore consumed strongly. In 2024, Ms. Ho Thi Len's mushroom products were recognized as 3-star OCOP products.

Ms. Len shared, I joined the Duc Pho City Mushroom Cultivation Club because I wanted to widely promote mushroom products to many people. Through the Mushroom Cultivation Club, I can connect with many clubs in districts and cities in the province to learn about mushroom growing experience.

For the My A fish sauce production model of Ms. Le Thi Thuy Trang, in Pho Quang ward, My A fish sauce is processed from 100% fresh anchovies using the fermentation method for 12 months, bringing a delicious and nutritious flavor. The product has been recognized as meeting the 3-star OCOP standard at the provincial level. On average, each year, Trang Hung Seafood Purchasing One Member Co., Ltd., owned by Ms. Trang, produces and supplies the market with about 100,000 liters of fish sauce. Ms. Trang said, I am very happy that My A fish sauce production facility is participating in the Innovative Technology Club. Thanks to that, I have the opportunity to exchange and learn from the experiences of other facilities to gain experience for myself and hope to spread the My A fish sauce brand in the province and outside the province.
