[Infographic] CPI Index December 2023

The consumer price index in December 2023 increased by 0.12% compared to the previous month. Compared to the same period last year, the CPI in December increased by 3.58%. Of which, 10 groups of goods and services had price indexes increasing and 01 group had price index decreasing.

In December 2023, the whole country had 13,300 newly established enterprises with registered capital of nearly 155,100 billion VND and registered labor of nearly 78,500 employees, down 7.1% in the number of enterprises, up 1% in registered capital and down 16.3% in the number of employees compared to November 2023.

Gasoline prices on December 14 fell sharply following the world trend. E5 RON 92 gasoline fell by VND780/liter, RON 95 gasoline fell by VND920/liter. Similarly, diesel prices fell by VND710/liter.

In November, total import and export turnover of goods was estimated at 60.7 billion USD, down 1.73% compared to the previous month and up 5.9% compared to the same period last year.
