On September 22, the Food Safety Management Board of Da Nang City announced that in October, primary schools across Da Nang City will hold activities to improve knowledge and skills in choosing safe food for staff and students.
In which, the Food Safety Management Board assigned the Center for Intensive Food Testing to take the lead in organizing, implementing, developing and preparing the training program.
Specifically, from October 1, the Da Nang City Food Safety Management Board organized training for officers in charge of food safety in primary schools. This included instruction on propaganda skills, updating new knowledge to prevent unsafe food; instruction on reading food product labels, risks of poisoning in schools, proactive procedures for handling food poisoning and foodborne infectious diseases, etc.; contributing to protecting and improving school health.

Also in October, the school's core food safety team continued to equip primary school students with knowledge and skills through diverse educational forms, engaging propaganda, and increased application of vivid visual methods and rich content suitable for the age of primary school students.
The content emphasized to students is guidance on choosing restaurants in front of the school gate, food hazards, and the harmful effects of using unsafe food.
School staff are also trained on food traceability at school, the role of traceability, the traceability system of Da Nang City, and forms suitable to the school's reality (such as flag-raising propaganda, extracurricular activities, etc.).
