This morning (July 4), Honda Vietnam officially launched the BR-V 2023 model with 2 versions and prices ranging from 661 - 705 million VND. The car is imported directly from Indonesia.
Along with Honda City, the all-new BR-V model officially launched in the Vietnamese market has 2 versions, with 3 color options with prices respectively: Honda BR-V G costs 661 million VND; Honda BR-V L costs 705 million VND; In addition, pearl white costs 5 million VND higher. With the entry of the "newbie" Honda BR-V, the 7-seat MPV segment of about 700 million VND in Vietnam is even more exciting. The leader is Mitsubishi Xpander, but Toyota Veloz is constantly approaching. A new "force" is Hyundai Stargazer, emerging thanks to strong discount programs. There are also Suzuki XL7, Suzuki Ertiga, Kia Carens or Toyota Avanza... In terms of size, Honda BR-V 2023 has dimensions of length x width x height of 4,490 x 1,780 x 1,685 mm, wheelbase of 2,700mm. The ground clearance is 207mm. Both versions of the Honda BR-V are equipped with 17-inch wheels with 215/55 R17 tires. The car uses 4-wheel disc brakes.

The Honda BR-V has an SUV-like design with many square details. The front of the car looks similar to the old HR-V, LED lights, while the rear of the car looks similar to the CR-V and the lights of the Honda City. Honda said they will bring to Vietnam four color options: silver white, ivory white, gray and black. The interior has a 4.2-inch TFT analog dashboard, a 7-inch entertainment screen with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity, automatic air conditioning, and push-button start. The two versions G and L have differences in interior equipment such as fabric seats and a beige ceiling on the G version, while the L version has leather seats and a black ceiling. In addition, the L version is better with a second-row armrest, a 12V charging port in the third row, automatic air conditioning, remote start, and paddle shifters on the steering wheel. Meanwhile, the G version has manual air conditioning. The most notable feature on the new Honda BR-V is Honda Sensing, which includes collision mitigation system features, adaptive headlights, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping and lane departure mitigation, front vehicle departure notification... Currently, only the Toyota Veloz Cross Top and Hyundai Stargazer Premium versions have an active safety package, but they do not have as many features as the Honda BR-V.

The L version has the LaneWatch lane observation feature and 6 airbags, while the L version is only equipped with 4 airbags. In addition, the BR-V still has some basic features such as ABS, EBD brakes, steering support, electronic balance, hill start assist, downhill assist, rear seat check reminder, etc. Honda BR-V achieved 5-star Safety certification in collision testing by ASEAN NCAP. The all-new Honda BR-V is equipped with a 1.5L 4-cylinder petrol engine, i-VTEC for a maximum capacity of 119 horsepower at 6,600 rpm, maximum torque of 145 Nm at 4,300 rpm, along with a CVT gearbox and front-wheel drive. The average mixed fuel consumption according to the BR-V's announcement is about 6.4 liters/100 km. This is the first time this product has been introduced in Vietnam, opening up a new product range for the Japanese car company, but also waiting for many challenges when the 7-seat MPV segment in our country currently has dozens of products.
