The report on the work results of the Party Committee of the Central Inspection Commission shows that in 2024, the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the Central Inspection Commission Party Committee closely followed the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress of the Bloc Party Committee, and the Resolution of the Central Inspection Commission Party Congress to concretize them into action programs, work programs, inspection and supervision programs; directed subordinate Party committees to innovate leadership methods and working styles, improve the capacity of Party organizations, and proactively lead the implementation of political tasks of the unit and the Central Inspection Commission agency.
The Party Committee and Party Committees at all levels have led the implementation of political tasks in accordance with the approved orientation and inspection plan and under the direction of the Prime Minister; the implementation of the inspection plan continues to receive attention; the conclusions and recommendations on handling inspections are objective, accurate, and timely, and have received public approval.
The work of receiving citizens, handling petitions, resolving complaints and denunciations is carried out synchronously and resolutely by the Government Inspectorate, in which the focus is on the highest concentration on the work of receiving citizens, resolving complaints and denunciations, contributing to stabilizing the political security situation, social order and safety, serving the sessions of the Central Committee, the National Assembly and major national holidays.
The work of preventing and combating corruption has been directed and implemented regularly, with coordination in performing tasks, continuing to have positive changes...; the work of building and perfecting institutions and other aspects of the work of the agency and the Inspectorate sector has been promoted. The role and position of the Government Inspectorate has been increasingly enhanced.
The Party Committee and its subordinate Party Committees continue to thoroughly grasp and concretize the resolutions, directives and conclusions of the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat and the Party Committee of the Central Agencies Bloc in accordance with the Party Committee's reality.
Appreciating the results of the Inspectorate's work in 2024, the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Agencies Bloc said that, on the threshold of the revolution to streamline the Party apparatus, the Government Inspectorate needs to continue to do a good job of political and ideological work. In addition, it is necessary to continue to have coordination between the Party Committee and the Leadership to advise and organize the implementation of streamlining the apparatus. Promote the sense of responsibility and exemplary role of Party members in coordinating to well perform political tasks in 2025. This is the last year of the term to carry out tasks, at the same time hold Party Congresses at all levels and implement streamlining the apparatus.
Regarding the Party building work, the Government Inspector General assessed that the Party Committee has achieved many good results. In particular, the Party Committee Standing Committee has focused on close and drastic leadership and direction, issued many specific programs and plans, and many directive documents to implement the Resolutions, directives, regulations, and conclusions of the Central Committee, Party Committees, and higher levels. The leadership and direction work has been innovated, linking the implementation of political tasks and inspection tasks with the task of Party building work, linking the completion of inspection tasks with the completion of political tasks of the Party organization and Party members.
To achieve that result, according to the Government Inspector General, the Party Committee Standing Committee has focused on leading and directing the good performance of political and ideological work to create high consensus, unity, and internal solidarity, contributing to the successful implementation of all assigned tasks.
Regarding the tasks for 2025, Party Secretary and Government Inspector General Doan Hong Phong requested that the entire Party Committee closely follow the 2025 Inspection Program Orientation, the direction of the Steering Committee, the Government, the Prime Minister, heads of administrative agencies and the actual situation to implement tasks appropriately and effectively. In particular, focusing on inspecting sensitive areas, areas of public concern, and areas prone to corruption, waste and negativity.
Along with that, increase publicity and transparency in inspection activities, ensure strictness, objectivity, legality and feasibility; Strictly implement Regulation No. 131 of the Politburo on controlling power, preventing and combating corruption and negativity in inspection activities. Collectives and individuals who violate must be handled according to the law.
Strengthen post-inspection handling, strictly implement recommendations for handling through inspection. At the same time, focus on removing difficulties and obstacles in implementing inspection conclusions according to the Prime Minister's plan on implementing Conclusion No. 77 of the Politburo to unlock resources for socio-economic development. Continue to effectively perform the work of receiving citizens, resolving complaints and denunciations according to the provisions of law.
Strengthen control of power in inspection activities, tighten discipline, administrative discipline, and public ethics; effectively implement policies and regimes for inspectors so that they can feel secure, maintain confidence, political courage, and complete their tasks well.
Regarding Party building work, the Inspector General requested to strengthen political and ideological education for cadres and party members, especially implementing the Central Committee's regulations on the exemplary responsibility of cadres and party members, contributing to rectifying and improving working style and manners, enhancing responsibility and public ethics in inspection activities, receiving citizens, handling complaints and denunciations, and preventing and combating corruption and negativity.
At the conference, the Government Inspector General requested the Party Committee to continue implementing Plan No. 47 dated April 21, 2022 of the Government Inspectorate Party Committee on implementing Conclusion No. 21 dated October 25, 2021 of the Party Central Committee on promoting Party building and rectification and the political system... In addition, focus on implementing well and successfully organizing Party Congresses at all levels in accordance with regulations and instructions of the higher-level Party Committee.
Effectively implement inspection and supervision work in 2025, focusing on tightening discipline in performing public duties, especially in inspection, handling complaints and denunciations, and preventing corruption and negativity.
At the same time, continue to strictly implement Regulation No. 58 of the Politburo and the Central Organizing Committee's Guidance on internal political protection, especially for cadres and party members who have relationships and contacts with foreign individuals and organizations, and strengthen the management of party members when going abroad.
