Of the 530 quotas, the People's Police Academy recruits 477 males and 53 females. The northern recruitment area, from Hue and beyond, is divided into 4 regions.

Region 1 includes the northern mountainous provinces (10 provinces): Ha Giang, Cao Bang, Bac Kan, Tuyen Quang, Lang Son, Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Dien Bien, Lai Chau, Son La.

Region 2 includes provinces and cities in the Northern Delta and midlands (15 provinces and cities): Hanoi, Hai Phong, Hai Duong, Hung Yen, Hoa Binh, Phu Tho, Thai Nguyen, Bac Giang, Vinh Phuc, Bac Ninh, Thai Binh, Nam Dinh, Ha Nam, Ninh Binh, Quang Ninh.

Region 3 includes the North Central provinces (6 provinces and cities): Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Hue.

Northern Region 8 includes active duty soldiers stationed from Hue and beyond of units A09, C01, C10, C11, K01, K02.

The Academy noted that in case the university quota in the enrollment area (according to each exam combination) is not met, this quota will be transferred to consider candidates from the remaining enrollment areas according to the Northern region, from high to low according to the enrollment regulations. Last year, the People's Police Academy took the standard score from 18.02 to 24.65.

Previously, the Fire Prevention and Fighting University was the first police school to announce its enrollment target for 2025. The school plans to enroll 200 full-time university students, including 180 males and 20 females. The total enrollment target of the people's police academies and schools in 2025 is 2,200.
