A passenger on the SE30 train from Saigon - Gia station on February 21 forgot a bag containing more than 37 million VND and more than 1,300 USD.
A representative of Vietnam Railways Corporation has just announced that a railway attendant picked up a passenger's bag containing more than 37 million VND, 1,304 USD and many important documents.
The incident occurred on train SE30 departing from Saigon station at 5:50 p.m. on February 21. The train arrived at Gia station at 4:25 a.m. on February 22. When the flight attendant in charge of car number 2, Vu Huong Giang, was cleaning the bed, she discovered a black handbag in bed number 7.
The flight attendant informed the train captain and the train security guard conducted an inspection and found that the bag contained 74 bills with a denomination of 500,000 VND and several other denominations with a total amount of 37,240,000 VND.
The bag also contained 13 $100 bills and several smaller bills for a total of $1,304.
In addition, the bag also contained many personal documents bearing the name QNP. The train captain verified that the bag belonged to passenger QNP who took train SE30 from Saigon - Gia station on February 21. The train captain contacted the passenger. At the passenger's request, the property will be returned when the train returns to Gia station.
