Specifically, during the program, each year students will receive financial support including tuition fees (13 million VND/year) and living expenses (14 million VND/year). At the same time, students will participate in comprehensive personal skills development support programs (5 million VND/year).

In addition, the program will also support 50 students with especially difficult circumstances with scholarships to cover their study costs for 4 years (each scholarship is worth 1 million VND/year); 100 households with especially difficult circumstances with children will be supported (each household will receive a Tet gift for 4 years, worth 500,000 VND/year).

Children of Vietnam (COV) was established in 1998 and is an American non-governmental organization that is working to support Vietnam in key areas such as health, education and community development.

To date, tens of thousands of children in Vietnam have received care from four core programs: Housing, Health and Nutrition – and two sub-programs: Empowering Women and Children and Hope Care System for Disabled Children.

COV's programs have been contributing to changing the lives of poor, homeless or disadvantaged children, students, and youth, improving their quality of life, providing them with basic skills and many opportunities for change, towards an open sky and a bright future.
