In the Education sector of Dak R'lap district, this movement is increasingly spreading strongly and receiving the consensus and positive response from the staff, teachers and employees of the schools. From the call and launch of the sector at all levels, each staff, teacher and employee is aware of the noble gesture of blood donation because every hour, every day, in the province and the whole country, there are many patients facing difficult circumstances when there is not enough blood to provide for the sick, so they really need drops of blood of love. Just one drop of blood we give means giving them a little hope of health, maybe even keeping them in this life.

From the pioneering collectives

For a long time, Nguyen Du Secondary School, Kien Duc town has been known for the movement "Teach well, study well". Not only that, this school is also quite "famous" in the blood donation movement. Here, the blood donation movement is actively responded to and participated in many times by almost all staff, teachers and employees. There are at least 30 staff and teachers of the school regularly participating in blood donation; many of whom donate blood more than 10 times, twice a year.

Ms. Tran Thi Hong, Vice Principal of the school, said: Blood donation is not only a movement but also an "inevitable" part of the professional duties and lives of the school's staff and teachers. The Board of Directors regularly encourages and motivates teachers and staff to actively participate in blood donation. And it is even more joyful when most of those who actively participate in blood donation have completed their professional duties well and excellently. We can mention Ms. Nguyen Thi Vy, a Geography teacher, who has donated blood 14 times in a row; Mr. Pham Van Hai, a Chemistry-Natural Science teacher, who has also donated blood 14 times; Ms. Duong Thi Thuan, who has donated blood more than 10 times...

This year, 45 years old, Ms. Nguyen Thi Vy looks very healthy and agile. She said that many people are afraid that after donating blood, their body will become weak and tired, but that is wrong. Because the benefits of donating blood are many, after each time donating blood, she herself feels comfortable, all activities and psychology, spirit are stable. Ms. Vy also affirmed that she will participate in HMTN until the "quality" of her blood is not guaranteed.

From 2011 to now, Ms. Vy has been HMTN 14 times.

From grade 12 to when he was a student, Mr. Pham Van Hai participated in the blood donation movement. During 11 years of working at Nguyen Du Secondary School, Mr. Hai has donated blood 14 times. In addition to teaching, he is also the Secretary of the School Youth Union, participating in many external activities. Mr. Hai hopes that the blood donation movement will be responded to and participated in more actively by many young people and youth union members. Because this is a young, healthy force with good blood quality.

To the outstanding individuals

Teacher Phan Van Tan, Head of the Department of Education and Training of Dak R'lap district, said that in order for the sector's blood donation work to achieve the best results, in addition to responding to the call and launch of relevant levels and sectors, the Department has focused on propaganda to attract a large number of staff and teachers to participate. There are schools where, when the call was launched, more than half of the staff and teachers voluntarily registered and participated in blood donation. However, there are also many people who, for a number of reasons such as poor health, blood quality not meeting requirements, etc., had to "reluctantly" leave.

After 13 years of working at Phan Chu Trinh Primary School in the remote Dak Ru commune, Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Nguyen has participated in the HMTN 9 times. Although the school is far from the district center and the roads are difficult, every time there is a HMTN campaign, Ms. Nguyen is ready to ask for permission from the Board of Directors, sometimes even sending her young child to register to participate.

As a Physical Education teacher, she has to teach most of her classes outdoors every day, in constantly changing weather conditions. However, even after donating blood, after her break, she still teaches regularly and does not feel tired or have any changes in her body. Ms. Nguyen believes that donating blood is a moral responsibility, and she is very happy because her blood can help many people. If there are campaigns, due to some objective reason, she cannot participate, she feels very guilty and tormented.

Teacher Mai Le Hoang, an art teacher at Luong The Vinh Secondary School in Quang Tin Commune, is also one of the typical faces in the voluntary blood donation movement. Although both husband and wife teach at the same school, every time there is a voluntary blood donation campaign, he arranges his professional and family work properly and actively participates. His wife also always encourages and motivates him and is ready to participate in voluntary blood donation when there is a campaign. Teacher Hoang himself is also an active member of the "Voluntary Blood Donation" Club of Dak R'lap District...

According to Mr. Phan Van Tan, the volunteer movement has inspired a lifestyle of love, solidarity and noble ideals in the majority of staff and teachers in the district. Many staff and teachers have been commended and rewarded by all levels and sectors for their outstanding achievements in the volunteer movement and volunteer movement.

In the coming time, the department will actively promote and mobilize more teachers to participate in blood donation. In particular, it will focus on encouraging and motivating young teachers to participate in blood donation to foster a noble ideal of life and contribute to the community.
