Kinhtedothi - Politburo member, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Bui Thi Minh Hoai has just signed and issued Program No. 35-CTr/TU on the 2025 work program of the City Party Committee Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the 17th City Party Committee (term 2020-2025).
Accordingly, in 2025, the City Party Executive Committee will hold 4 regular conferences and a number of thematic conferences; the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee will hold 18 regular conferences and a number of ad hoc conferences.
Notably, in addition to the large amount of content related to the preparation and organization of Party Congresses at all levels and the 18th City Party Congress, term 2025-2030, the Party Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee will review the progress of the implementation of the District Upgrade Project of 4 districts: Dong Anh, Gia Lam, Hoai Duc, Thanh Tri. In which, the progress report on the implementation of the District Upgrade Project of Dong Anh and Gia Lam districts will be reviewed around April 2025 and the progress report on the implementation of the District Upgrade Project of Hoai Duc and Thanh Tri districts will be reviewed in October 2025.
In addition, Work Program No. 35-CTr/TU also clearly states 6 key tasks. In particular, the first task is identified as directing the successful organization of Party Congresses at all levels and the 18th City Party Congress according to Directive No. 35-CT/TW dated June 14, 2024 of the Politburo on Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party; Plan No. 258-KH/TU dated July 15, 2024 of the City Party Committee on organizing Party Congresses at all levels towards the 18th Hanoi Party Congress, term 2025-2030, focusing on the preparation of documents and personnel for Party Congresses at all levels of the City.
The second task is to direct the implementation of the organizational arrangement of the political system "Refined - Lean - Strong - Effective - Efficient - Effective" according to the direction of the Central Committee after summarizing Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW dated October 25, 2017 of the 12th Party Central Committee.
The Standing Committee of the City Party Committee also identified the next focus as continuing to promote the spirit of democracy, solidarity, unity, arousing pride and aspiration to build a "Cultured - Civilized - Modern" Capital; striving, focusing on leadership and direction to seriously and effectively implement programs, plans and projects to implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the 17th National Party Congress, 5 main tasks, 3 breakthroughs and 10 major work programs of the 17th City Party Committee. Effectively implementing the City's working theme for 2025: "Discipline, responsibility, action, creativity, development" associated with the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the 17th National Party Congress.
Continue to focus on directing the handling and finding solutions to remove obstacles for slow-moving land-use projects in the city, especially those related to law enforcement. Continue to prioritize investment resources, speed up the implementation of the Ring Road 4 - Capital Region Project, urban railway line No. 3, Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station section, and other key projects and works of the city.
The Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee also proposed to focus on performing well the regular tasks in Party building, building the political system at all levels of the city; promoting administrative reform, especially administrative reform within the Party. Carrying out well the work of preventing and combating corruption, negativity, practicing thrift, fighting waste; receiving citizens, handling complaints and denunciations, mainly in the fields of land and environmental management.
Strengthen inspection and supervision work, focusing on inspecting and supervising the organization and implementation of the City's political tasks in 2025 and the entire term; associated with urging the implementation of conclusions and directions of the City Party Committee, the Standing Committee, and the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee in overcoming limitations and shortcomings pointed out after reviewing the work.
