On the first day of the third round of the VGA Junior Tour, the competitions were exciting and dramatic. In the U18 men's group, Nguyen Duc Son had an unfavorable start when he made a bogey at hole 6. However, the 16-year-old quickly recovered with a birdie at the next hole and maintained a stable performance when scoring 3 birdies at holes 12, 15, 16. After 18 holes of round 1, Nguyen Duc Son led with a score of (-2).
Following Nguyen Duc Son on the rankings is Pham Nam. Pham Nam had his first eagle of the day at hole 3 and a birdie at hole 6. The 17-year-old athlete brought home a total score of 75 strokes after the first day of competition. Le Minh Nghia and Nguyen Thai Nhat ranked next with scores (+9) and (+10).

In the U18 women's group, Nguyen Kim Phuong Anh leads the group with points (+11). 2nd and 3rd place belong to Ha Na Vuong and Nguyen Vu Hoang Anh respectively.
Pham Dang Long led the U15 men's group after the first day of competition. Dang Long had a birdie on the starting hole. After that, Dang Long played better with 3 birdies on holes 6, 10 and 15. Athletes Nguyen Tuan Anh and Vo Minh Tuan ranked 2nd and 3rd.
The next competition day will feature U12 male, U12 female and U9 athletes.
