In 2015, Ms. Xuan decided to open Xuan Anh fish sauce processing facility to process traditional fish sauces. With a capital of 100 million VND, she built a factory, a drying yard, and purchased equipment and tools for processing. To have quality products and ensure the health of consumers, she decided to order fresh fish, so that the fish sauce produced would be more delicious. Any customer in need just needs to call and she will deliver it to their home. Thanks to the dedicated customer care and the products always ensuring quality, the fish sauce produced by Ms. Xuan's facility is increasingly known by consumers.
Traditional fish sauce is produced by hand, with elaborate and complicated steps and time to produce a batch of fish sauce. The most difficult thing is the output of the product when having to compete with industrial fish sauce, so Ms. Xuan participated in a training course, improving her capacity and knowledge of business development. Then she started to design her own logo, bottle shape, register exclusive trademarks, thereby increasing the value of the product, reaching more consumers' tastes. From a small-scale production facility, now her facility produces from 30 to 40 tons of shrimp paste and dried shrimp paste each year. Not only stopping at anchovy fish sauce, she also makes other products, such as shrimp paste, condensed shrimp paste, sour shrimp paste, salted shrimp paste... 100% of the products do not use preservatives to ensure the safety of consumers' health.
Currently, her fish sauce products are supplied to markets in and outside the province. During the fish sauce production process, waste products are generated, which she uses to make protein-rich feed for livestock, as fertilizer for growing vegetables, without affecting the environment. With the introduction and connection from departments, agencies in the city and the Women's Union at all levels, her products are displayed at fairs in provinces and cities across the country and in Vientiane, Laos. Her model achieves revenue of 15 to 20 million VND/month and creates jobs for many local workers.
To help the product reach deeper into the market in the future, Ms. Xuan continues to improve the design, quality and promote the traditional fish sauce product Xuan Anh. She said, to maintain the profession and make a living from it, I put my heart into every detail, even the smallest stage. In the process of making the product, we pay special attention to food hygiene and safety, from input materials to preliminary processing, processing and finished products, always putting quality criteria first.
