On February 3, the Ministry of Public Security chaired and coordinated with the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, the Central Party Office and the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics to hold a press conference to introduce and release the book "Absolute loyalty to the Fatherland, the Party, the State and the People - Shining qualities of a revolutionary police officer" by General, Professor, Dr. To Lam - General Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
The book introduction and release ceremony is a practical activity to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025) and towards the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the heroic Vietnam People's Public Security Force (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025); contributing to promoting the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Congress and the resolutions of the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
The content of the book "Absolute loyalty to the Fatherland, the Party, the State and the People - Shining qualities of a revolutionary police officer" is presented in 766 pages, book size 24cm x 16cm, including: Introduction by the People's Police Publishing House and 80 articles, speeches, interviews selected from more than 500 articles by the author along with 71 photos vividly reflecting the visits and work at the police units, localities, and grassroots areas of General Secretary To Lam during his tenure as Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee and Minister of Public Security.
The book demonstrates the author's consistent thinking in creatively applying, developing, and protecting Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh's thought, the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws in the cause of protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety, building a truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite, modern People's Public Security force, closely linked to national defense and foreign affairs tasks, effectively serving the cause of economic - cultural - social development of the country, proactively and actively integrating internationally, building the great national unity bloc, constantly enhancing the position and prestige of Vietnam in the international arena.
The book has great theoretical and practical value, is a valuable document, vividly reflecting the achievements and historical lessons of our Party in leading the cause of national construction and defense in general, protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety in particular in a particularly important historical period with many difficulties and challenges, has brought Vietnam to develop strongly, to have "foundation, potential, position and international prestige" as today, meeting the urgent requirements of the cause of building socialism and firmly protecting the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in the new era of development - the era of the Vietnamese people's rise, standing shoulder to shoulder with the world powers.
