Each model, solution, and good method proves the necessity and creativity of the units over the years.

Recognize the breath of life

Head of the Ho Chi Minh City Police Youth Union Dang Van Thang said that in the face of increasingly complicated black credit crimes, the Union has implemented the project "Ho Chi Minh City Police Youth Union proactively participates in preventing black credit related crimes in the city".

In coordination with the Criminal Police Department, you have created many propaganda products, established 22 propaganda teams at the district police stations to "go to every alley, knock on every door" to propagate to people to be vigilant against black credit.

Over the past four years, the police and local people have launched many campaigns to remove illegal advertisements and distribute hundreds of thousands of flyers to the public with a lot of information about illegal credit crimes.

In particular, the Youth Union of the City Police together with local authorities and coordinating units have created a series of murals "Beautiful Vietnam" (VND 1.2 billion) with images of the country's landscapes and islands on the walls after removing illegal advertisements.

Meanwhile, the Spring Bus Trip organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Student Support Center since 2002 has brought over 60,300 disadvantaged students home to celebrate Tet.

Those charity tickets were initially only available in small quantities thanks to savings through fundraising programs and selling handicrafts. Until there was support from many units, it became an annual activity during Tet.

Up to now, the total cost of the trips is more than 24 billion VND. Many students far from home were overwhelmed when they received tickets home from thousands of generous hearts.

Center director Le Xuan Dung said he was also a student who received this ticket before, so he understands the value of the program.

What makes the people who make this program happy is that over the years, although not many, there have been students who were given tickets that year who have now graduated and have stable jobs and come back to help give tickets to their juniors. And each annual bus trip now has not only students but also many passengers who are workers who come to the city from far away from home to make a living.

Light up love for the sea and islands

For the past ten years, students and members of District 8 (HCMC) have become familiar with the movement "I raise a piggy bank - 60 days of saving for the sea and island borders".

Many activities help children save hundreds of millions of dong for the sea and islands. Deputy Secretary of District 8 Youth Union Vo Thai Duong said that every September, the education sector will coordinate with the education sector to launch a movement for 33 teams in the district to carry out for 60 days.

There are many ways for children in District 8 to choose to participate. The teams raise piggy banks with pocket money, collect scrap metal... to send to support the journey "Young shoots are ready for the sea and island borders".

Participating in the journey, the children directly visited soldiers in some border, sea and island areas, and were able to personally hand out support and care for soldiers in difficult circumstances, and give scholarships, school supplies, and study corners to children of soldiers in difficult circumstances.

Over the past 10 years, the district's youth teams have conducted over 1,300 youth radio broadcasts about the movement, contests to learn about borders, seas, and islands, along with many traditional talks, historical film screenings, etc.

From the revenue from the program, the children supported the program "Contribute stones to build Truong Sa" with 60 million VND, the program "For beloved Truong Sa" with 275 million VND, the Fund "For the homeland's sea and islands - For the frontline of the Fatherland" with 355 million VND...

More importantly, the lessons of sharing, patriotism, and love for the homeland's sea and islands are multiplied through each small action that has become a daily routine.
