This is the first tournament organized and included in the professional 3-cushion carom tournament system of the Ho Chi Minh City Billiards & Snooker Federation (HBSF).
Stage 1 of the tournament took place from April 23 to April 28 at Ba Chieu Billiards Club (Binh Thanh District), with scoring and ranking for athletes according to HBSF regulations, so it attracted many strong players to participate.

The bonus points and prizes are 50 million VND, 80 championship bonus points for the champion, 20 million VND, 56 points for the runner-up and 10 million VND, 36 points for the two third-placed positions. Players with high achievements in each tour have the right to participate in the next tour and players in the Top 8 of each cup tour will have a place to compete in the final tour of the season.
Tour 1 of HBSF Cup 2023 with championship worth 50 million VND
At the opening ceremony of the tournament, HBSF also signed a sponsorship contract for the 2023 3-cushion carom billiards tournament system with MIN Investment & Service Company Limited, which is also the diamond sponsor for 3 consecutive seasons.
Table MIN brand will accompany the tournament for three seasons.
The HBSF Cup 2023 is a professional 3-cushion carom tournament system held annually, creating a professional playground for Ho Chi Minh City athletes with a total prize value of up to 800 million VND for the entire season. The system includes 3-4 cup tournaments each year with a championship tour at the end of the season, and can invite international players to participate.
