The 58 teachers honored in the "Sharing with Teachers" program in 2023 are outstanding teachers working in schools in disadvantaged communes in regions I, II, and III in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in 51 provinces and centrally-run cities, in the period of 2021 - 2025 according to Decision No. 861/QD-TTg dated June 1, 2021 of the Prime Minister.
Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Thi Minh and leaders of units and Vietnam Youth Union met with teachers.
At the meeting, the teachers reported to Deputy Minister Nguyen Thi Minh on the results, achievements, and efforts they have made in recent years. At the same time, the teachers also shared about the difficulties in teaching, expressed their wishes to have policies to overcome the difficulties, helping ethnic minority students to study equally with other students.
During the meeting, representatives of functional units as well as leaders of the Ministry of Education and Training listened to, acknowledged the proposals, recommendations and sharing of teachers in the localities where they worked and taught. In 2021, from the wishes of teachers, the Central Youth Union, the Central Vietnam Youth Union, the Ministry of Education and Training and relevant departments and branches launched the "Wish for Children" program nationwide to support the construction of 1,000 qualified toilets for schools and school locations in difficult areas.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Thi Minh also highly appreciated the efforts of teachers in general and the honored teachers in particular to overcome all difficulties in teaching in difficult areas across the country. The Ministry of Education and Training is submitting to the National Assembly as well as advising the Government to have policies and mechanisms to gradually support teachers, especially teachers in remote areas.

On this occasion, to recognize the contributions of teachers in the career of educating people, the Ministry of Education and Training awarded certificates of merit from the Ministries to 58 teachers honored in the 2023 sharing program with teachers.
Implementing the movement "I love my Fatherland"; celebrating the anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20); in order to encourage, motivate and recognize the persistent and tireless contributions of the team of teachers, those who have spent a lot of time, effort and enthusiasm to overcome many difficulties and hardships, contributing to the cause of education and nurturing the young generation, from 2015 to present, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union has coordinated with the Ministry of Education and Training, Thien Long Group and other units to organize the program "Sharing with teachers".
In 2023, after more than 2 months of launching (August 1 - October 8), the Organizing Committee received 107 profiles of teachers from 51 provinces, cities and organizations. On October 25, the Selection Council met and agreed on a list of 58 outstanding teachers to be honored at the program "Sharing with teachers". Of which, 19 teachers are ethnic minorities, the oldest teacher was born in 1970 and the youngest teacher was born in 1996. In particular, the teacher with the most difficult circumstances is teacher Nguyen Thi Kim Ly (born in 1979), working at Hoa Tham Primary and Secondary School, Chi Linh City, Hai Duong Province (working time of 24 years), she both works and takes care of her husband with cancer and her daughter who has been in a vegetative state since childhood.
The 2023 “Sharing with Teachers” program will be held on November 16 and 17 in Hanoi. The Commendation Ceremony will take place on the evening of November 17 at the Youth Theater.
