VHO - This morning, January 16, in Hanoi, the thematic exhibition "The Communist Party of Vietnam - Historical Milestones" jointly organized by the National Museum of History and the Central Party Office Archives Department opened. Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Dao Cuong attended and cut the ribbon to open the exhibition.

In his opening speech, Dr. Nguyen Van Doan, Director of the Vietnam National Museum of History, said that the thematic exhibition "The Communist Party of Vietnam - Historical Milestones" was held in a bustling atmosphere welcoming the new spring, the entire Party, the entire people and the entire army were excited and proud to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025), towards welcoming the 14th National Congress of the Party.

With more than 150 artifacts, documents and images currently kept at the National History Museum and the Central Party Office Archives, the exhibition provides an overview of the birth of the Communist Party of Vietnam; the 13 Party Congresses with correct, strong and wise decisions; the solidarity, unity, efforts, joint efforts and consensus of the entire Party, people and army that created important historical milestones with resounding victories and feats in the struggle for national independence, restoration of peace, liberation of the South, and national reunification: achievements in the cause of national renewal and development.

“These are important foundations and valuable lessons for us to inherit, promote, and continue to successfully achieve the development goals set by the Congresses…”, the Museum Director emphasized.

Dr. Nguyen Van Doan added that the exhibition introduces typical groups of artifacts expressing the people's feelings and hearts towards the Party: Collection of resolutions, documents of the Party and works, speeches of comrades General Secretaries and Presidents through Congresses, images of preparations for the 14th National Congress of the Party, especially the event of the Politburo and the Central Party Secretariat organizing the National Conference on Breakthroughs in Science, Technology, Innovation and National Digital Transformation held on January 13, 2025, which is considered as "Article 10" of the Doi Moi period...

The exhibition includes the following sections:

Part 1: Establishment of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930). Introduces the role of President Ho Chi Minh in spreading Marxism-Leninism in Vietnam; establishment of the Communist Party of Vietnam on February 3, 1930 to carry out the mission of leading the Vietnamese revolution.

Many typical documents and artifacts are displayed in this section such as the French colonial regime verdict, Thanh Nien newspaper, the Party's Platform and brief strategy, the Party's Charter, etc.; the collection of artifacts: People's love for the Party.

Part 2: Communist Party of Vietnam - Historical milestones. Demonstrates the Party's guidelines, policies and strategies through 13 Congresses associated with the nation's historical milestones and the country's achievements under the Party's leadership from 1930 to the present, especially in nearly 40 years of national renovation and international integration.

Typical documents and artifacts of this content include the Collection of resolutions and documents of the Party; Documents and images showing important historical milestones and achievements of the country under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

Conclusion: Towards the 14th National Congress of the Party. This section introduces the preparation work for the 14th National Congress of the Party: Collecting opinions on draft documents to be submitted to the 14th Party Congress; Training and updating knowledge and skills of the team of cadres planning to become members of the 14th Party Central Committee.

Many valuable documents and artifacts are featured in this section, such as Party and State leaders attending the press conference of the 13th Party Central Committee Conference on August 3, 2024; meetings to collect comments on the draft Political Report, Documents submitted to the 14th Congress..., General Secretary To Lam chairing the First Session of the Central Steering Committee on continuing to innovate and streamline the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined and operate effectively and efficiently, Hanoi, November 19, 2024; National scientific conference "New era, the era of the Vietnamese nation's rise - Theoretical and practical issues", Hanoi, November 15, 2024...

The exhibition helps each party member and cadre as well as the general public, especially the young generation, better understand the history of the formation and development of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Party's wise leadership; and the strength of national unity that has created historical milestones over the past 95 years.

Thereby, arousing pride, self-reliance, creating positive motivation for every Vietnamese citizen in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland, bringing the country into a new era - the era of national growth, continuing to create new milestones in the process of integration and development.

The exhibition is open from January 16 to March 16, 2025.
