Nearly 200 cyclists compete in Ninh Thuan amateur cycling tournament

On the morning of June 15 at 16/4 Square, Ninh Thuan Province, the Ninh Thuan - Binh Thuan Cycling Race took place with the participation of 18 Cycling Clubs from 2 localities, Binh Thuan and Ninh Thuan. The number of participating athletes was 184, of which 126 athletes came from Binh Thuan.

Attending the opening ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Long Bien - Vice Chairman of Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa - Director of Ninh Thuan Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and leaders of departments, branches and sectors of Ninh Thuan province . On the side of Binh Thuan , Mr. Huynh Ngoc Tam - Deputy Director of Binh Thuan Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism , along with leaders of the Provincial Sports Training, Coaching and Competition Center, and leaders of the Provincial Sports Cycling Federation.

The Ninh Thuan - Binh Thuan Cycling Race is an event in a series of activities to celebrate the Ninh Thuan Wine - Grape Festival , and is also an event in a series of coordinated activities between the two provinces in the 2023 National Tourism Year "Binh Thuan - Green Convergence".

In the individual age group of 16-45, athlete Nguyen Thanh Phuc (Tuan Ninh Thuan Group) finished first and won first place, followed by athlete Dang Thanh Huy (Ham Thuan Nam) and athlete Dam Thanh Tuan (Tuan Ninh Thuan Group). In the individual age group of 46-55, athlete Tran Van Chau (TTP Kinh Dinh Bicycle) won first place, followed by athlete Luu Van Loc (Khang Thinh Binh Thuan) and athlete Le Van Thang (FreeBike Ninh Thuan). In the individual age group of 56 and over, athlete Nguyen Xuan Phuong (La Gi Binh Thuan) won first place, Phuong's teammate Nguyen Van Hoang won second place, and athlete Pham Van Hung (For Ninh Thuan Health) won third place. Meanwhile, in the women's amateur category, all three top positions belonged to Khang Thinh Binh Thuan team, with familiar names in the women's cycling movement: Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy, Truong Thi My Thoa and Nguyen Kieu Ngoc Tram.

In the male team competition for the age group of 16-45, first prize went to Ham Thuan Nam (Binh Thuan), second prize went to Tuan Ninh Thuan group, third prize went to Ham Thuan Bac (Binh Thuan). In the male team competition for the age group of 46-55, first prize went to FreeBike Ninh Thuan, third prize went to Khang Thinh Binh Thuan. In the male team competition for the age group of 56 and above, first prize went to La Gi Xanh Binh Thuan, second prize went to For Health Ninh Thuan, third prize went to Phong Nam 1 (Binh Thuan).
