Mr. Khoa Nguyen, General Director of the Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2023, shared that this year's Sea Festival marks an important milestone as this is an event taking place in the year commemorating the 370th anniversary of the establishment and development of Khanh Hoa province; this is the 10th Sea Festival held in the past 20 years, as a son of Khanh Hoa, he himself feels very honored and proud to take on this important task.

According to general director Khoa Nguyen, unlike previous festivals, this year the stage was designed on the beach with a very large and magnificent scale with many of the world's leading modern technological equipment. In addition, there was a performance by 1,653 Drone Light, the largest in Vietnam to date, with many scenes in the sky, combining traditional music with modern performance equipment.
In particular, the opening part will be the image of swallows; in addition, there will be images of Mui Doi - Mui Dau (Van Ninh District) - the easternmost point on the mainland of the Fatherland, the place to welcome the first rays of dawn in Vietnam; images of Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa with blue sea, white sand and 300 days of warm sunshine, the place that is proud to have the most beautiful bay in the world with a rich and beautiful marine ecosystem; images of rivers flowing into the vast ocean; fleets of boats carrying many aspirations to overcome the waves and go out to sea. Besides, there are also images of Dien Khanh ancient citadel, Ponagar tower, Tran Huong tower...
"We have to calculate logically and attractively. Each night will be a different story, each stage design will be different, the space will be different and a different artistic story," Mr. Khoa Nguyen shared.
Within the framework of the Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2023, there will be 71 different activities such as: Parade with the theme "Nha Trang coastal city Ao Dai" organized by the Khanh Hoa Provincial Women's Union. The parade will have the participation of 5,000 women across the province. Each sister in graceful, flowing Ao Dai with diverse designs and colors will embellish the lively summer coastal city space. This Ao Dai parade will be registered to set a Vietnamese record... In addition, there are cultural activities, art performances, sports competitions, and tourism promotion taking place in Nha Trang City and some other localities.
In recent days, many tourists have been looking for accommodation to come to Khanh Hoa to watch the sea festival. Mr. Vo Quang Hoang, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Hotel Association, said that with a series of exciting and unique events, cultural - artistic, sports, tourism activities... this is a special occasion to promote local tourism in a wide range to domestic and international investors, businesses and tourists. In recent days, many hotels along Tran Phu Street have seen a sharp increase in the number of room reservations.
"Especially hotels near April 2nd Square such as Novotel, Muong Thanh Nha Trang... with favorable views are mostly fully booked. Guests often book rooms quite early to enjoy the art programs at the Festival and conveniently travel to entertainment venues," said Mr. Hoang.

According to the leader of Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism, it is forecasted that during the 4 official days of the Sea Festival, the provincial tourism industry will welcome about 100,000 visitors to visit, stay and experience tourism products. To ensure a healthy tourism environment and create a good impression on tourists, the Department of Tourism has issued documents requesting tourism businesses to strictly implement regulations on fire prevention, fire fighting, security and order, food safety and hygiene... during the Sea Festival.
Mr. Dinh Van Thieu, Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, said that the 2023 Sea Festival Program is an opportunity for Khanh Hoa to deeply and widely promote the potential of the marine economy, the beauty of traditional and contemporary culture of the locality. Activities within the framework of the program are renewed in content and form of expression, ensuring artistic quality and attracting viewers.
Gathering delicious dishes at Nha Trang Sea Festival Food Festival 2023
On the afternoon of June 2, at the Coastal Park next to Tram Huong Tower (Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa), the Nha Trang Sea Festival Food Festival 2023 took place. The program was jointly organized by the Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Tourism Association and the Khanh Hoa Culinary Culture Association, with the participation of about 90 food, specialty and tourism service booths.
