Ensure safe and stable power supply
EVNSPC has just held a conference to summarize the work in 2023 and deploy tasks in 2024. The report at the conference said that in 2023, EVNSPC will ensure safe and stable power supply to serve socio-economic development and political and cultural events in 21 southern provinces and cities. Power supply reliability continues to improve compared to 2022; 2,484/2,484 communes, wards and towns have access to electricity; the number of rural households with electricity is 5.469 million households (reaching a rate of 99.72%).

The rate of customers paying electricity bills without cash reached 98.86%.
EVNSPC completed many key projects, providing safe and continuous electricity to southern localities.
EVNSPC has coordinated well with local authorities at all levels and customers in implementing load adjustment (DR) in 21 southern provinces and cities. Of which, DR agreements have been signed with nearly 6,000 customers with large electricity consumption. Particularly during the peak dry season and difficult time in power supply (May 2023), EVNSPC has implemented 22 planned DR events with a proposed capacity reduction of 431.36 MW. The actual result reached 954.53 MW, equivalent to 221% of the plan, due to electricity customers participating in the reduction.
In 2023, EVNSPC will complete the construction of 39 projects, energize 37 110 - 220 kV grid projects and 709 medium and low voltage grid projects, completing the plan assigned by Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN). Some important completed projects include: 110 kV line connecting LSP Long Son (this is a key project of the State Steering Committee for key oil and gas projects); 110 kV 2-circuit line from Uyen Hung 220 kV station, branching off on Phu Giao - Tri An 110 kV line to supply electricity to Lego customers...
