With a total export turnover of 6.3 billion USD in 2024, Thanh Hoa is gradually affirming its position on the global trade map. Horti Agri Next Asia 2025 (HAN Asia 2025) - Asia's leading agricultural and horticultural technology event, held from March 12 to 14 in Bangkok (Thailand), attracted many investors and businesses from all over the world. Along with "exploring" new markets, many enterprises in the province continue to take advantage of opportunities from free trade agreements to improve competitiveness and expand product consumption markets in traditional markets. Typically, from the end of 2024 to present, Lam Son Sugarcane Joint Stock Company has successfully exported Japonica J02 rice products to the Singapore market, produced from purebred rice varieties originating from Japan. Mr. Tran Xuan Trung, Deputy Director in charge of Import and Export Trade, Lam Son Sugarcane Joint Stock Company, said: "Japonica J02 rice products are grown according to modern agricultural technology processes, VietGAP standards and have been recognized as a 4-star OCOP product of the province. Currently, the enterprise is targeting a major partner, Kematsu Company of Japan - the second largest rice trader in Japan. After Singapore, the enterprise is aiming to conquer the Australian and Japanese markets".

In early 2025, busy ships arriving at Long Son Bai Ngoc General Port in Nghi Son Economic Zone continue to bring Long Son brand cement and clinker products to markets in the US, Korea, Taiwan, etc. Currently, Long Son Cement Company's products have been successfully exported to countries such as the US, Brunei, Singapore, Japan, Philippines, Taiwan, Australia, Bangladesh and some African countries. In particular, products are increasingly being consumed in the US market - one of the most demanding markets in the world, contributing to revenue growth, reducing domestic consumption pressure, and at the same time being an opportunity for the company to perfect, equip and apply strict international standards, creating opportunities for the company's product brand to continue to reach far in the international market.

According to the representative of the Department of Industry and Trade, export activities not only bring foreign currency and contribute to economic growth, but also create conditions for enterprises to improve their management level, product quality and competitiveness. Currently, the department continues to accompany enterprises in supporting market information, connecting trade and participating in international fairs and exhibitions. In addition, Thanh Hoa province is investing in infrastructure.
