Coffee price forecast tomorrow 1 8/2/2025
According to a recent Reuters survey, world coffee prices are entering a correction phase after a long period of peaking. Profit-taking by investors along with the prospect of improved supply are putting pressure on the market. However, low inventories are still a factor supporting coffee prices to remain high.
According to a report from the Brazilian Coffee Exporters Association (Cecafe), Arabica coffee exports in January 2025 decreased by 1.6% compared to the same period last year, down to 3.98 million bags. This reflects that the supply has not shown signs of a strong recovery, continuing to create concerns for the market.
For Vietnam, the world's largest exporter of Robusta coffee, exports in January also recorded a significant decline, with a decrease of up to 28.1% compared to last year. The market is currently waiting for clearer signals on supply and demand to determine the coffee price trend in the coming time. Based on current market factors, experts predict that coffee prices may continue to increase sharply, expecting to create a new price mark tomorrow, February 18, 2025.
