Successfully energized the Hoang Hoa 2 110kV Transmission Line and Substation project

On October 31, commemorating the 55th anniversary of the establishment of the Northern Power Corporation (October 6, 1969 - October 6, 2024) and the 70th anniversary of the Electricity Industry's tradition day (December 21, 1954 - December 21, 2024), the Northern Power Construction Project Management Board (BA3) coordinated with Thanh Hoa Power Company (PC Thanh Hoa), local departments and agencies and related units to complete the acceptance and energization of the Hoang Hoa 2 110kV Transmission Line and Substation project in Thanh Hoa province.

The project belongs to the Energy Project, level II, group B, with a total investment of more than 150 billion VND, with an investment scale: 110kV Transmission Line Part: Construction of a 110kV double-circuit line using ACSR-300mm2 conductors to supply power to Hoang Hoa 2 110kV Substation, Thanh Hoa province with a length of 10.22km; 110kV Substation Part: Construction of a new 110kV Substation with a scale of 02 transformers, this phase only installs 01 40MVA-110/35/22kV transformer (with a reserve location for installing additional transformers in the future);

Construction of distribution control house; Installation of equipment, surveillance camera system, fire protection system,... according to unmanned substation criteria; Construction of information system, SCADA connecting to Thanh Hoa Province Remote Control Center, Northern Power System Dispatch Center and NPC Data Center according to regulations.

Attending the acceptance and energization ceremony, BA3 representatives included Mr. Dang Hong Son - Deputy Director and specialized departments, on the side of Thanh Hoa PC, there was Mr. Le Thanh Binh - Deputy Director of Thanh Hoa PC and representatives of the leaders of the specialized departments of the Company and related contractors, and the Fire Police.

The Hoang Hoa 2 110kV Transmission Line and Substation Project in Thanh Hoa Province is a key project of great significance invested by EVNNPC and assigned to BA3 to directly manage and operate the project.

The project's operation has important significance: Strengthening grid connectivity, improving the stability and reliability of power supply as well as meeting the demand for load growth, improving the quality of electricity in Hoang Hoa district and neighboring areas; In accordance with the Thanh Hoa Power Development Plan for the period 2016-2025 with a vision to 2035 approved by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
