On the morning of August 17, the Steering Committee for Crime Prevention, Social Evils and Building a Movement for the Whole People to Protect National Security (ANTQ) of Moc Nam Commune (Duy Tien Town) organized the 2023 National ANQ Protection Festival. Comrade Truong Quoc Huy, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation attended. Also attending were leaders of the Provincial People's Committee Office, Provincial Police, Duy Tien Town; Party Committee, government and people of Moc Nam Commune.
In recent times, the movement of the entire people to protect national security in Moc Nam commune has been effectively implemented in various forms, creating conditions for people to actively participate. At the same time, it has promoted the people's sense of self-management, self-prevention and self-protection.
The commune police force has advised the Party Committee and local authorities to maintain effective operation of models such as: "3 reductions, 4 retentions", "Security and order linkage cluster", "Security cameras", "Building a commune free of crime and drug abuse", "Self-management team to protect security"; "Community digital technology team", "Lanh Giang temple relic site is safe, civilized, and imbued with national identity".
As a result, up to now, 5 self-governing security teams with 27 members have been established in 5 hamlets and villages; the commune has established 1 commune-level community digital technology team and 5 hamlet-level teams with 65 members; mobilized 12 agencies, enterprises, schools, 128 households to install security cameras; mobilized the construction of a commune security camera system with 32 eyes with transmission lines and memory specifically for the work of ensuring security and order, with a budget of over 200 million VND from socialized capital sources... Along with that, many models and self-governing security and order teams according to each topic, field, and residential area in the commune have also been deployed...
At the National Day for National Security Protection, Moc Nam commune deployed the construction of the model "Security camera cluster connecting Yen Lenh bridge"; organized the signing of emulation covenants between the Commune Police and the Fatherland Front, associations, unions and villages in the commune on the implementation of the task of building the movement for national security protection in 2023.
Speaking at the National Day for National Security Protection in Moc Nam Commune, comrade Truong Quoc Huy, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, acknowledged and commended the achievements in the movement for national security protection in Moc Nam Commune. The annual festival creates a vibrant atmosphere among the people, replicating typical models and creative ways of protecting national security. Through the movements, promoting the strength, patriotism, and national security protection, contributing to the implementation of the strategy for socio-economic development and security and order in the locality.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: Protecting national security is the cause of the entire Party and people, in which the police force is the core. In the context of the complicated economic and political situation in the world and in the country, it is required that the localities of Duy Tien town in particular and the whole province in general need to be proactive and develop plans to protect national security in accordance with the new situation. Along with that, attention should be paid to security and order, fire prevention and fighting, traffic safety, anti-counterfeiting, etc.
As a locality bordering a neighboring province, Moc Nam commune needs to better implement the movement to protect security and order, focusing on digital transformation in protecting security and order. To effectively carry out the assigned tasks, human resources are the core requirement, so it is necessary to build a team of qualified, capable, flexible cadres in handling situations... to build an increasingly strong Party organization and government; contribute to the successful implementation of socio-economic development tasks; ensure security and order in the area.
At the National Day of National Security Protection of Moc Nam commune, individuals and groups with outstanding achievements received Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
