In 2025, Thai Nguyen province strives to achieve an export value of over 30 billion USD (an increase of 9% compared to the previous year). To achieve this goal, since the beginning of the year, export enterprises in the province and relevant agencies have made efforts to implement many solutions.

According to information from the relevant authorities, in January 2025, the export value (VV) of goods in the province reached nearly 2.9 billion USD, an increase of 106.7% compared to the previous month. Notably, the VV of the foreign-invested economic sector reached nearly 2.8 billion USD (2.1 times higher than the previous month, accounting for more than 98% of the total VV in the province).
The province's main export items are: Smartphones reaching 690.2 million USD (nearly 2.3 times higher than the previous month); tablets reaching 165.2 million USD (up 2.3%); other electronic products and spare parts reaching 1.88 billion USD (2.3 times higher)...
The total export turnover of local enterprises in January was estimated at 56.1 million USD, down 8% compared to the previous month but up 3.2% compared to the same period last year. In particular, many export items were bright spots such as: Garment products reached 45.2 million USD (up 4.8% compared to the same period); non-ferrous metals and non-ferrous metal ores reached 22.5 million USD (up 4%); iron and steel products reached 2.4 million USD (up 8.4% compared to the previous month and up 3.1% compared to the same period last year)...
The above results are due to the more favorable import and export situation in 2025 thanks to economic growth and global trade growth that has gradually recovered. The export market continues to be expanded, diversified, and exploited with free trade agreement (FTA) partner markets with preferential tax rates continuing to decrease according to the roadmap.
Along with that, the province's export enterprises closely follow the plan, making efforts to implement many solutions to boost production and product consumption, such as: Expanding consumption markets, diversifying production industries and products...

Mr. Doan Nhu Hai, Director of the Company, shared: In 2025, the Company sets a revenue target of 50 billion VND (an increase of 15% compared to before), of which the export value accounts for 20%. To complete this goal, in addition to high-frequency heat treatment services, by the end of 2024, we have expanded the factory by 3,000m2, invested in 2 grinding machines, 4 CNC lathes... with a total cost of over 6 billion VND to meet the production capacity of a new product line of wind generator components exported to the European market. Thanks to expanding the new production field, by the end of January 2025, the Company's revenue reached more than 4 billion VND, reaching 100% of the plan.
Or TDT Investment and Development Joint Stock Company - one of the largest garment enterprises in the province. To achieve the revenue target of over 500 billion VND, from the beginning of the year, the Company has increased negotiations and signed export garment orders from many major brands such as: Costco, Walmart, Kohl's, Tesco, Champion, CK, DKNY, Levi's, Land's End, C&A, A&F... Thanks to that, in January 2025, the unit's revenue reached 41 billion VND, an increase of more than 5% over the same period last year.
At TNG Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company, in addition to the group of solutions on restructuring the export market, the unit continues to promote restructuring and investment in technology, green transformation to meet the requirements of customers; improve competitiveness; convert processing methods to other methods.
Therefore, from the beginning of the year, the Company has had enough export orders until June 2025 and is continuing to negotiate with partners to complete the production plan in 2025. Currently, 99% of the Company's revenue comes from export activities, with key markets including the US, EU, and Canada.
Similarly, for SSNewtech Vina Co., Ltd. (specializing in manufacturing electronic accessories for Samsung Group) in Diem Thuy Industrial Park, Mr. Lee Eung Sin, Director of the Company, said: In 2025, the Company aims to reach a revenue of 8 million USD. In the context of many difficulties in the world and domestic economy, to achieve the above growth target, we plan to cooperate with other large corporations in many countries, by developing new products to meet the increasingly stringent requirements of the market...

According to economic experts, the export market in 2025 will still face many difficulties and challenges due to unpredictable fluctuations in the world economy. Therefore, to achieve the target of increasing GDP by 9% in 2025, along with the efforts of the business community, strong support from state agencies is needed.

In addition, the province will continue to more effectively implement industrial and handicraft development programs for the 2021-2025 period; continue to reform administrative procedures; strengthen dialogue with enterprises to promptly grasp and remove difficulties and obstacles in the production and business process...
