DTO - The Standing Committee of the Provincial Women's Union has just developed a plan to organize a series of activities to celebrate the 115th anniversary of International Women's Day March 8 and the 1985th anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung Uprising.
The plan sets out a number of key propaganda and activities such as: propagating the historical significance of International Women's Day March 8 and the Hai Ba Trung Uprising, the role and historical value of the uprising for the Vietnamese people and Vietnamese women; propagating and educating about the fine traditions of Vietnamese women, the moral qualities of Vietnamese women in the period of promoting industrialization and modernization of the country; the issue of gender equality, the advancement of women in the world and in Vietnam. In particular, continuing to propagate to cadres, members, and women to implement the emulation movement "Building Dong Thap women - solidarity, affection, dynamism, creativity" associated with the emulation movement "Building women of the new era" launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union; propaganda on the results of the implementation of the Association's tasks in 2024 and implementing the emulation plan for 2025, with the theme of 2025 "Promoting the role of women in participating in building a clean and strong Party and political system, ready to enter a new era, an era of national growth".

At the same time, organize activities to care for members and women through practical programs and activities such as: "Accompanying women in the border areas", "Godmother" program, "Millions of gifts to share love"...; mobilize women to have new, creative and effective business ideas, actively participate in starting businesses, creating jobs, increasing income, improving quality of life.
In addition, mobilize female cadres, members, civil servants, public employees, workers, female youth, and women in the whole province to actively respond to the event "Ao Dai Week" from March 1 to March 8, 2025.
The plan aims to review the glorious tradition of Vietnamese women and the international women's movement fighting for national independence, for the advancement and equality of women. Thereby raising awareness, educating the tradition and revolutionary ideals for cadres, members and women in the current period. At the same time, arouse pride in the revolutionary tradition of the international women's movement, the glorious tradition of Vietnamese women; educate patriotism, sense of responsibility, and good qualities of Vietnamese women; make achievements to welcome the Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 12th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030 and the 14th National Party Congress.
