Nguyen Thi Can and Dang Trung Nghia were arrested while trying to illegally exit the country in Phuoc Trung hamlet, Long Phuoc commune, Ben Cau district.
At 10:30 a.m. on June 18, 2023, in Phuoc Trung Hamlet, Long Phuoc Commune, the Working Group of Long Phuoc Border Guard Station coordinated with Ben Cau District Police to patrol and ambush and caught Nguyen Thi Can (born in 1991, residing in Phuoc Tay Hamlet, Long Phuoc Commune) organizing Dang Trung Nghia (born in 1991, residing in Ho Chi Minh City) to illegally exit to Cambodia.
During the investigation, Nguyen Thi Can stated: At around 8:00 a.m. on June 18, 2023, a Vietnamese woman living in Cambodia called via Zalo to hire Can to go to the rubber plantation area in Phuoc Trung hamlet, Long Phuoc commune to take a man out of the country to Cambodia; and at the same time pick up a person entering from Cambodia into Vietnam for a fee of 6 million VND. When Can was organizing illegal exit for others, she was discovered and arrested by the Working Group.
Evidence seized from Nguyen Thi Can included 1 mobile phone and 1 motorbike; evidence seized from Dang Trung Nghia included 2 mobile phones and 63,500,000 VND.
