Vietnam Team 1 won the VTV Cup Ferroli 2023 International Women's Volleyball Tournament

Attending the closing ceremony were Mr. Dang Xuan Phong, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong, Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee; Ms. Giang Thi Dung, Vice Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee; Mr. Do Thanh Hai, Deputy General Director of Vietnam Television; Department of Physical Training and Sports, leaders of Departments, branches, localities and a large number of fans in Lao Cai province.

In the final night with beautiful moves, the Vietnam women's volleyball team 1 excellently won the first prize of VTV Cup Ferroli 2023.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Ms. Giang Thi Dung, Vice Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Head of the Tournament Organizing Committee affirmed: "The VTV Cup Ferroli 2023 International Women's Volleyball Tournament was a great success. The athletes of the 6 teams participating in the tournament gave the volleyball fans of Lao Cai border province exciting, enthusiastic, quality matches with a noble spirit, solidarity and friendship"

At the closing night, Vietnam team 1 excellently won the VTV Cup Ferroli 2023 International Women's Volleyball Championship. Second place was Vietnam team 2.

The organizers awarded first, second and third prizes to the excellent teams.

Previously, in the third place match, Choco Mucho Club (Philippines) excellently won with a score of 3-1 against Kansai University team (Japan).

After the final match, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes to the teams participating in the VTV Cup Ferroli 2023 International Women's Volleyball Tournament. The first prize went to Vietnam Team 1 with a prize value of 10,000 USD; the second prize went to Vietnam Team 2 with a prize value of 7,000 USD; Choco Mucho Club (Philippies) won the third prize with a prize value of 5,000 USD; the fourth prize went to Kansai University Team (Japan) with a prize value of 2,000 USD and the consolation prize went to Suwon City Team (Korea) with a prize value of 1,000 USD. The Australian team won the style prize with a prize value of 1,000 USD.

The tournament also found worthy winners for outstanding individual titles. The most anticipated individual title at each VTV Cup is Miss Volleyball, which belongs to athlete Hoang Thi Kieu Trinh (number 11 - Vietnam Team 1).

The most impressive strikers were athlete (Rodina - Choco Mucho Club) and athlete Tamuda Hikaru (Kansai University Club - Japan).

The best middle blocker award went to Madayag (Choco Mucho Club - Philippines) and Le Thanh Thuy (Vietnam team 2); the best opposite player award went to Hoang Thi Kieu Trinh (Vietnam team 1); the best setter award went to Doan Thi Lam Oanh (Vietnam team 1); the best libero award went to Le Thi Thanh Lien (Vietnam team 2); and the best all-around player award went to Tran Thi Thanh Thuy (Vietnam team 1).

This is the first time the VTV Cup International Women's Volleyball Tournament has been held in the border province of Lao Cai, but it has received great attention and support from local fans as well as volleyball fans nationwide. The tournament has left in the hearts of international athletes beautiful images of the friendly and hospitable country and people of Vietnam.
