Total revenue of corporations and general companies in the Bloc all grew, from 1.4 million billion VND to more than 2 million billion VND (up more than 42%); pre-tax profit from 123 thousand billion VND to nearly 200 thousand billion VND (up 61%); budget contribution from 220 thousand billion VND to more than 242 thousand billion VND (up 10%); social security work with the total amount of social security work reaching more than 10 thousand billion VND...

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Luong Cuong acknowledged the results that the Party Committee of the Bloc has achieved since the beginning of the term, focusing on the first 6 months of 2024. He emphasized that the Party Committee of the Bloc is a party organization model with its own characteristics, without the same-level government; does not directly assign planning targets and direct production and business activities; presides over the approval of Party committee personnel work according to decentralization and only coordinates with the owner agency to give opinions when the competent authority decides on the work of leaders and managers of enterprises in the Bloc.

From that characteristic, he requested the Party Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc to continue to focus on grasping the functions, tasks, powers, and relationships of the Party Committee of the Bloc and its subordinate Party Committees; innovate leadership methods, improve the leadership quality of Party committees and Party organizations in accordance with current regulations and in accordance with the reality and characteristics of the State-owned Enterprises Bloc. In particular, focus on strengthening politicaleducation , unifying awareness of the position and role of state-owned enterprises, the responsibilities of each cadre, civil servant, Party member, and employee, and improving production and business efficiency.

He also noted that the Party Committee of the Bloc and its affiliated Party organizations continue to implement the basic principles of Party organization and operation, which are: democratic centralism within the Party; self-criticism and criticism; solidarity and unity; close ties with the people; and the Party operates within the framework of the Constitution and the law.

The Party Committee of the Bloc and Party Committees at all levels organize to thoroughly grasp and concretize the implementation of Directive No. 35-CT/TW of the Politburo on Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party; issue a plan to organize congresses at all levels towards the 4th Party Congress of the Bloc, term 2025-2030 and the 14th National Congress of the Party; launch an emulation campaign to strive to complete and exceed the targets set by the resolutions of Party Congresses at all levels for the 2020-2025 term...
