PTSC Youth Union accompanies the organization of the "Community Health Care" Program in Ha Tinh

On October 19, 2024, Vietnam Oil and Gas Technical Services Corporation (PTSC) accompanied and coordinated with Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital (HUMH) to organize the program "Community Health Care" in Ha Tinh province.

The “Community Health Care” program has provided free medical examinations, medicine and gifts to more than 1,000 disadvantaged people in Duc Tho and Huong Son districts, Ha Tinh province. Contributing to the success of the program, the Youth Union of PTSC Corporation and the Youth Union of PTSC Thanh Hoa actively participated and supported the organization process.

PTSC Youth Union members, PTSC Thanh Hoa accompanied and coordinated with Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital (HUMH) to organize the program "Community Health Care"

With the spirit of volunteerism and responsibility for the community, PTSC Youth Union members, PTSC Thanh Hoa participated in organizing and preparing, registering for medical examination, guiding and supporting local people in the process of carrying out medical examination procedures and dispensing medicine.

The working group measured blood pressure, tested blood sugar, examined and consulted each local resident, gave instructions and prescribed medication according to their illness. This is a premise to change current habits as well as awareness of disease prevention, improve personal health, and improve the quality of life of local people.

The working delegation also visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Tran Thi Do, 96 years old, currently residing in Ben Hau Village, Truong Son Commune, Duc Tho District.

During the program, PTSC Corporation and its partners sponsored 1,000 gifts for local people. The gifts have spiritual significance, demonstrating PTSC’s care and support for the community, contributing to spreading the message of sharing and solidarity.

The program “Community Health Care” ended in joy and gratitude from the local government and people. The bright smiles of gratitude from the people when they left were the motivation for the PTSC Youth Union and the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital to continue organizing many meaningful activities in the future.
