This year, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities recruits 3,799 students (an increase of 200 students compared to last year) with 37 training majors in 3 programs including: Standard program, international standard program and English enhancement program.

The school opened 3 new training majors including: Korean Business, International Studies and Art Studies.

The school uses 5 admission methods including:

Method 1: Direct admission, priority given to direct admission of the best candidates from high schools in 2024 (according to regulations of Ho Chi Minh City National University), 1-5% of total enrollment quota.

Method 2: Priority admission according to regulations of Ho Chi Minh City National University, (15 - 20% of total quota).

Method 3: Consider the results of the 2024 high school exam (40 - 55% of total target).

Method 4: Consider the results of the competency assessment exam organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University in 2024 (35 - 50% of total target).

Method 5: Priority is given to students who are members of provincial or municipal teams participating in national excellent student competitions or who won first, second, or third prizes in provincial or municipal excellent student competitions, candidates who graduated from foreign high school programs, and candidates with achievements in social, artistic, and sports activities (1 - 5% of total enrollment quota).

This year, the school plans to increase tuition fees for standard programs, international standard training programs and English enhancement programs.

Specifically, the school will collect tuition fees by major group with tuition fees ranging from 14 - 29 million VND/school year for standard training programs, 60 million VND for international standard training programs and enhanced English (high quality).

Tuition fees for majors in the standard training program include: 2 groups of majors: Social Sciences and Humanities and Languages ​​and Tourism.

For the Social Sciences and Humanities group, there are 3 different tuition levels. The majors with tuition fees of 14.3 million VND/school year include: Philosophy, Religious Studies, History, Geography, Information - Library, Archival Studies.

Tuition fees of 21.78 million VND/school year include: Education, Linguistics, Literature, Cultural Studies, Sociology, Anthropology, Oriental Studies, Office Administration, Social Work, Educational Management, Educational Psychology, Urban Studies, Information Management, Vietnam Studies (for Vietnamese people).

Tuition fees of 24.2 million VND/school year: International Relations, Psychology, Journalism, Multimedia Communications.

Tuition fees for language and tourism majors: Russian, Italian, Spanish (17.16 million VND/school year), French, German (26.07 million VND/school year), English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, tourism and travel services management (29.04 million VND/school year).

The Vietnamese Studies major (for foreigners) has a tuition fee of 66 million VND/school year.

The majors in the international standard training program and English enhancement that candidates can choose to register for will have a tuition fee of 60 million VND/school year, including the following majors: international relations, journalism, English language, Chinese, Japanese studies, German language, tourism and travel service management.
