Poetry Night of the Lantern Festival of the Year of the Snake

The poetry night was organized by the Dak Nong Provincial Literature and Arts Association, Dak R'lap District People's Committee and related units.

Former provincial leaders, representatives of departments, branches, local authorities and many poetry lovers attended and enjoyed the performance.

With the theme “Aspiration for the Green Plateau”, the 2025 Lantern Festival Poetry Night introduced 12 poetry and music performances. Among them were some famous poems such as: “Nguyen Tieu” by President Ho Chi Minh; “Sending you at age 20” by Tran Le Chau Hoang; “Mong ben em ve Dak Nong thang ba” by Vo Van Han; “Dak R’lap festival night” by Do Toan Dien...

Speaking at the poetry night, TUV, Vice Chairwoman of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee Ton Thi Ngoc Hanh emphasized that the country is entering the spring of At Ty 2025 with many special milestones. This is the year that the entire Party, the entire army and the entire people celebrate the 95th anniversary of the Party's founding (February 3), the 80th anniversary of the founding of the country, the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification... This is the year of party congresses at all levels, leading up to the 14th National Party Congress. Especially, it is the starting point of a new era - the era of national development.

With such special characteristics, this spring, the Vietnam Writers Association decided to organize the 23rd Vietnam Poetry Day with the theme "The Fatherland flies up", to praise the country's achievements, inspire life and creativity along with the great aspirations of the nation to the whole society.

The performance "Lullaby of Au Lac - Heroic Spirit of Vietnam - Mountains and Rivers of the South" was performed by the Art Troupe of Pham Van Dong High School, Dak R'lap District at the poetry night.

Comrade Ton Thi Ngoc Hanh affirmed that, in line with the development trend of the country, over the past 21 years since its re-establishment, Dak Nong has carried within itself the aspiration to rise up and has achieved many proud achievements. The province's artists in general, and Dak Nong poets in particular, with the aspiration to rise up from a green plateau rich in potential and love for beauty, are ready to join the country in entering an era of prosperity and peace.

The Vice Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee hopes that poets and poetry lovers on the M'nong plateau will join hands to write a new poem - a poem about a passionate love for people, a rich and beautiful Dak Nong, for the aspiration of a green plateau.
