Proposed policy for specific officials at drug rehabilitation facilities

(Dan Tri) - The Director of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Ho Chi Minh City requested that facilities research and propose policies for some specific officials at drug rehabilitation facilities such as doctors, cooks, etc.

On the afternoon of November 6, the delegation to survey the preparation work of the Congress of the Party Committee of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Ho Chi Minh City, led by Mr. Le Van Thinh, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Department, came to work with the Party Committees of 4 drug rehabilitation facilities of Ho Chi Minh City located in Binh Phuoc province on the preparation work for the grassroots Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.

The facilities that the delegation worked at included: Phu Nghia, Phu Duc, Phu Van and Duc Hanh drug rehabilitation facilities.

At the meeting, representatives of grassroots Party Committees reported on preparations for the grassroots Congress; reported on the implementation results of the Congress Resolution for the 2020-2025 term. To date, most targets have been achieved and exceeded.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Le Van Thinh highly appreciated the preparation of the Executive Committees of the grassroots Party Committees, fully implementing the instructions of the superiors related to the organization of the congress.

The implementation results of the Resolution of the Congress for the 2020-2025 term at all grassroots Party Committees have been basically completed, with only a few tasks remaining unfinished.

The Secretary of the Party Committee of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Ho Chi Minh City suggested that from now until the end of the term, it is necessary to speed up the implementation of unfinished tasks. If due to objective reasons, lessons should be drawn and solutions proposed for implementation in the next term.

Mr. Thinh directed research facilities to propose policies for some specific officials at drug rehabilitation facilities such as doctors, cooks, etc.

Mr. Le Van Thinh suggested that Party committees should focus on evaluating the targets and tasks in implementing the Resolution for the 2020-2025 term based on the issued target system.

He requested that establishments need to frankly and honestly acknowledge limitations and shortcomings, analyze the causes of what has been done and what has not been done; and draw lessons from experience.

According to Mr. Thinh, to improve the quality of the Party's leadership, the quality of the congress documents of the term is extremely important. He requested that the Party Committees of the units, when drafting the congress documents, must research, focus, invest, and allow party members to give their opinions, not do it carelessly or roughly.

At the same time, the Secretary of the Party Committee of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Ho Chi Minh City requested that Party committees at all levels pay attention to the quality of human resources, first of all the personnel of the new term Executive Committee.

On the same day, the working delegation of the Party Committee of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs led by Ms. Luong Thi Toi, Standing Committee Member, Deputy Director of the Department, worked on preparations for the Party Congress with the Party Committees of the following Party Committees: Bo La Drug Rehabilitation Center, Tan Hiep Social Protection Center and Binh Duc Social Protection Center.
