Implementing Conclusion No. 121 dated January 24, 2025 on summarizing the implementation of Resolution No. 18 dated October 25, 2017 of the 12th Party Central Committee "on continuing to innovate and rearrange the organizational system of the political system to be streamlined, effective and efficient"; Project No. 350 dated February 4, 2025 of the Provincial People's Committee on reorganizing specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee, including the content of transferring a number of functions and tasks of a number of specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee to the Provincial Police, specifically: The Provincial Police takes over the task of state management of network information safety and security from the Department of Information and Communications; takes over the task of testing and granting road motor vehicle driving licenses from the Department of Transport; takes over the task of drug addiction treatment and post-drug addiction treatment management from the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs; Receive the task of state management of judicial records and perform public services of issuing judicial records from the Department of Justice.
At the conference, leaders of the Provincial Police and leaders of departments and branches signed a record of receiving and handing over state management tasks from departments and branches to the Provincial Police.
Speaking at the conference, Director of the Provincial Police Department Vu Van Dau identified these as extremely important new tasks. The leaders of the Provincial Police Department will continue to lead and direct relevant professional departments to proactively and actively coordinate closely with departments and functional units of departments and branches to promptly complete the task reception and handover; quickly put into operation the tasks smoothly and effectively, without interrupting work, affecting the overall work progress and quality of service to the people.
