Proposal to discipline the principal of a famous high school in Hue

Regarding the scandal of a female teacher in Hue being forced out of class by her colleague, after disciplining Mr. Ngo Duc Thuc - Principal of Hai Ba Trung High School (Hue City - where the incident occurred), the Department of Education and Training of Thua Thien - Hue sent a notice to the Standing Committee of the Hue City Party Committee and requested to consider Party disciplinary action against Mr. Thuc according to its authority and send the Department a copy of the decision to keep on file to ensure compliance with regulations.

According to the leader of the Department of Education and Training of Thua Thien - Hue province, the reason Mr. Ngo Duc Thuc was disciplined with a warning was due to a number of violations and shortcomings in the management and administration of revenue, expenditure and finance.

Mr. Thuc was also directly involved in the incident in which teacher Ho Thi Tam (a Literature teacher at Hai Ba Trung High School) had her arm twisted and pushed out of the classroom by a male colleague named Nguyen Duc Phong (Head of the National Defense Physical Education Group) in front of many students.

Hai Ba Trung High School is a traditional and famous school in Hue City.

According to a representative of the Department of Education and Training of Thua Thien - Hue province, regarding the substandard behavior of two teachers in class 10/9 of Hai Ba Trung High School in October 2022 (the case of a teacher being "arm-locked" by her colleagues and forced out of the classroom), the Department of Education and Training decided to conduct a comprehensive administrative inspection of the school to thoroughly and definitively resolve a number of issues that have caused negative public opinion about the school and the industry; ensuring the common learning rights of students.

On September 26, the Department of Education and Training of Thua Thien - Hue announced the inspection conclusion and directed groups and individuals to make corrections after the inspection.

According to authority, the Director of the Department of Education and Training of Thua Thien - Hue signed a decision to issue a disciplinary warning to Mr. Ngo Duc Thuc - Principal of Hai Ba Trung High School and considered disciplining the two teachers in the clip and individuals and groups that violated according to authority (The Disciplinary Council of Hai Ba Trung High School reprimanded teacher Nguyen Duc Phong and criticized teacher Ho Thi Tam).

Also according to the Department of Education and Training of Thua Thien - Hue, before the Department announced the inspection conclusion and issued disciplinary action, Mr. Ngo Duc Thuc submitted an application for early retirement.

Currently, the Department's leaders have submitted to the Party Committee of the People's Committee of Thua Thien - Hue province for approval and consideration of Mr. Ngo Duc Thuc's application for early retirement.

At the same time, the Department proposed to transfer a Principal from a school unit in Thua Thien - Hue province to replace Mr. Ngo Duc Thuc as Principal of Hai Ba Trung High School.

According to the Department of Education and Training of Thua Thien - Hue, along with improving personnel, the department will take measures to end the limitations at this school with a long tradition, ensuring the best learning rights for students and strengthening the trust of parents and society.

Previously, a clip appeared on social media recording a scene where a female teacher was pushed out of the classroom by a male teacher with the words "Get out!" in front of dozens of students.

The above incident occurred at Hai Ba Trung High School (Hue City, Thua Thien - Hue), causing public opinion to raise many questions. The clip was filmed on the morning of October 22, 2022, during a class meeting of the homeroom teacher of a grade 10 class at this school.

At the time of the incident, there were many students and 3 teachers in the classroom: N.D.P (the person who pushed the female teacher out), Ho Thi Tam (the person who was pushed out) and the homeroom teacher named D.

Before the incident, some students and parents of this class complained about changing Ms. Tam (the Literature teacher) because the way she taught the lesson made the students unable to understand. Therefore, during the class meeting, Ms. Tam came in to ask for clarification, causing a commotion.

It is known that Hai Ba Trung High School is one of the large and famous schools with a long history in the Central region and the whole country.

According to Wikipedia, the ceremony to lay the first stone to build this school took place on July 15, 1917, with the presence of King Khai Dinh, Governor General of Indochina Albert Sarraut, Resident General of Annam JE Charles, Acting Resident General of Tonkin J.Le Galler, princes, ministers and a number of high-ranking French officials in Indochina.

Under the direction of contractor Leroy, nearly two years later, the school was inaugurated. This was the first and only girls' school for girls from all 13 provinces of Central Vietnam at that time.
