Promoting the implementation of the Project to develop Hanoi Capital University

The plan was issued to specify the viewpoints, goals, tasks and solutions to implement the Project on developing Hanoi Capital University to 2030, with a vision to 2045, approved by the City People's Committee.

The plan clearly states five key tasks, including: staff development; organizational structure; training and ensuring educational quality; scientific research and development cooperation; finance and infrastructure construction.

Regarding the organizational structure, the plan details the Project to reorganize (add the task of teaching high school practice and change the name) Thang Long Primary and Secondary School to Thang Long Primary, Secondary and High School; Project to complete the rearrangement of the organizational structure of departments and units under the school to meet the goals and requirements of the Project to develop Hanoi Capital University.

To improve the quality of training, in the coming time, the school will continue to add qualified teachers, strengthen facilities to ensure teaching and learning at 3 levels of training, and conduct quality assessment of the school's education.

According to the Plan, by December 2024, the Project to establish the Institute of Hanoi Studies and International Training under Hanoi Capital University will be completed.

Regarding training and education quality assurance, there are contents on the plan to assign tasks and place orders for training students in the pedagogical sector according to Decree No. 116/2020/ND-CP dated September 25, 2020 of the Government; Project to innovate the organization of regular internships for pedagogical students to meet the requirements of the capital's education sector.

Scientific research and development cooperation work has a Project to establish and develop a key research group to meet the research requirements of socio-economic issues of Hanoi; strengthen international cooperation in training, scientific research, and technology transfer with universities and scientific and technological organizations in the region and the world.

The Hanoi People's Committee assigned Hanoi Capital University to be the unit to advise and organize the implementation of the approved contents of the fields in the 2024 - 2025 period; coordinate with relevant departments, branches and units to develop mechanisms, policies, plans and organize the implementation of the solutions of the Project.
