According to the recently released consolidated financial report for 2024, Deo Ca Transport Infrastructure Investment Company's revenue grew in all areas. Specifically, toll revenue accounted for the largest proportion at VND 1,914 billion (58% of total revenue), an increase of about 22% compared to 2023.
In particular, the North-South Expressway Project, Eastern section, Cam Lam - Vinh Hao section, put into operation from the second quarter of 2024, has an average traffic of more than 8,000 vehicles/day, contributing significantly to the Company 's revenue.
Construction and installation activities brought in VND 1,152 billion, accounting for 34% of total revenue, up 10% compared to 2023 thanks to accelerated construction progress at key expressway projects such as: Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon, Cam Lam - Vinh Hao, Lien Chieu port connecting road, Binh Dinh coastal road...
Notably, operational management activities recorded a growth of 125% compared to the previous year thanks to HHV winning bids and receiving additional projects such as Cam Lam - Vinh Hao, Tam Diep tunnel, Thung Thi, Truong Vinh...
Currently, the Company is managing and operating 6 expressways, National Highway 1 through Khanh Hoa, My Thuan 2 Bridge and 11 mountain tunnels, including the 4 largest tunnels in Vietnam: Hai Van, Deo Ca, Nui Vung, and Cu Mong.
In 2024, the Company recorded revenue of VND 3,308 billion, an increase of more than 23% over the same period. Profit after tax reached VND 473 billion, an increase of nearly 30% compared to 2023.
Regarding future development orientation, the Company continues to pursue a focused growth strategy, promoting strengths in investment, construction and operation management of transport infrastructure.
2025 is an important milestone in the development strategy for the 2021-2025 period, aiming to realize the goal of completing 3,000 km of highways nationwide.
In the first days of the Lunar New Year, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the Government delegation inspected the progress and urged the construction of the Dong Dang - Tra Linh and Huu Nghi - Chi Lang expressways.
These are two projects implemented under the PPP method invested by the Company's consortium. For the Dong Dang - Tra Linh project, at the end of 2024, the Company increased its ownership ratio to 40%.
The Prime Minister welcomed the spirit and enthusiasm of working through Tet at the construction sites of the two projects, and the investors and contractors who paid attention to policies and took care of Tet for cadres and workers.
Investors and contractors have cooperated with all parties to promptly and systematically carry out procedures. Deo Ca investors also have management boards, training centers, and are “combat-ready” units in construction, especially tunnel drilling…
The Prime Minister emphasized that these two expressway projects are of important and strategic significance to the two provinces of Cao Bang and Lang Son and the northern mountainous provinces, not only in terms of economy but also in terms of national defense and security, and reaffirmed the goal of completing the two expressways by 2025 to contribute to the smooth operation of the entire expressway from Cao Bang to Ca Mau.
Regarding the proposals and recommendations of localities and investors, the Prime Minister agreed in principle to immediately implement phase 2 of the Dong Dang - Tra Linh Expressway Project (expanding the existing route of more than 93 km to 4 full lanes and building a new route connecting Tra Linh border gate of more than 27 km), at the same time implementing sections to connect this expressway with Cao Bang city (17 km long) and to Ta Lung border gate (13 km).
The Prime Minister also agreed with Lang Son province's proposal to build a section connecting the Huu Nghi - Chi Lang expressway to Tan Thanh border gate and to upgrade the road connecting Lang Son with Thai Nguyen. These are favorable conditions for HHV to continue investing in the next phase of the above projects.
In addition to investment projects, in construction activities, in 2025, implementing the Prime Minister's direction, the HHV joint venture is also striving to accelerate the construction progress of the Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon project, aiming to open tunnel No. 3 - the largest newly built tunnel on the North - South expressway by April 30, 2025, aiming to open the entire Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon route by the end of 2025.
Regarding operation management activities, based on its fundamental strengths, the Company aims to participate in bidding for operation management and regular maintenance of North-South expressway component projects after completion, focusing on sections with road tunnels and large bridges.
