Comprehensive assessment of the implementation of resolutions on thematic supervision and questioning

The questioning session was broadcast live on television and radio for voters and people nationwide to follow.

This is the first time in the term of the 15th National Assembly that the National Assembly Standing Committee has reviewed and questioned the implementation of the agencies' resolutions on thematic supervision and questioning, related to 9 areas: Industry and Trade; Agriculture and Rural Development; Culture, Sports and Tourism; Justice; Security, order and social safety; Home Affairs; Inspection; Court; Procuracy.

Regarding the questioning method, in accordance with the regulations of the session's regulations and the practice of past questioning sessions, the Chair will invite 3 to 5 delegates to ask questions, the National Assembly delegate will ask questions for no more than one minute, the person being questioned will answer for no more than 3 minutes per question, and the debate will last no more than 2 minutes for each questioning session.

At the end of the questioning session, the National Assembly Standing Committee will vote to pass a Resolution on questioning activities to serve as a basis for agencies to implement and for the National Assembly Standing Committee, National Assembly agencies, National Assembly delegations, and National Assembly deputies to supervise.

Questioning and answering questions are always supervisory activities that voters and people pay special attention to. At the 6th Session, the 15th National Assembly questioned members of the Government and heads of sectors on the implementation of resolutions of the 14th National Assembly and from the beginning of the 15th National Assembly's term to the end of the 4th Session on thematic supervision and questioning. The questioning sessions at the 6th Session took place enthusiastically, achieving the requirements and content set out.

Speaking at a meeting to review preparations for the question-and-answer session at the 36th session of the National Assembly Standing Committee on August 6, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man emphasized that the question-and-answer session is a regular activity of the National Assembly conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Organization of the National Assembly and the Rules of the National Assembly Session, demonstrating the high sense of responsibility of the National Assembly and the Government towards the country and the people. Through the question-and-answer sessions, voters and people will evaluate the capacity of members of the Government and heads of sectors. The National Assembly Chairman requested that ministers and heads of sectors continue to promote their experience in answering questions and answers at previous question-and-answer sessions, and have methods, ways and content of answers that meet the requirements of National Assembly deputies, voters and people.
