Today, September 5, the Supervisory Delegation of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation led by Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, conducted a thematic supervision of "Implementation of policies and laws on conservation and promotion of cultural heritage values in Quang Ninh province" in Tien Yen district.

Tien Yen district currently has about 50 types of intangible cultural heritage and 40 relics, of which 21 relics are listed in the province's inventory and classification. From 2018 to present, Tien Yen district has focused on devoting more than 65 billion VND in resources to invest in, restore and embellish relics. Many relics and heritages have become spiritual cultural tourism products that welcome a large number of people and tourists, actively contributing to the development of local socio-economy.


Supervising the reality at some relics in the area, the Supervisory Delegation and Tien Yen district discussed and clarified some difficulties and limitations as well as proposed solutions to effectively implement legal policies on preserving and promoting cultural heritage values such as planning, investment, restoration, and management of relics; receiving and managing donated money and artifacts; difficulties in preserving and restoring Khe Tu relic; maintaining and preserving intangible cultural heritage values and promoting cultural resources for tourism development... Along with that are policies for artisans preserving cultural heritage, policies on preserving ancient houses among the people...


Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Deputy Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies, suggested that Tien Yen district continue to perform well the state management work, promoting the value of cultural heritages in the area. In particular, strengthening management and planning at relics; promoting coordination between authorities at all levels and local people where relics are located, strengthening joint management, promoting the value of relics; collecting and storing information on relics in the area; improving professional qualifications for cultural officers; researching and building tourism tours connecting relics, contributing to socio-economic development in the area.

Regarding the recommendations of Tien Yen district, the Supervisory Delegation received, synthesized, and reported to competent authorities.
