Delegation of National Assembly deputies of Quang Ninh province attended the question and answer session of the National Assembly Standing Committee

Continuing the 36th Session, on the morning of August 21, at the National Assembly House (Hanoi) , under the chairmanship of Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, the National Assembly Standing Committee held a question-and-answer session to review the implementation of the Government, ministries and branches on 06 resolutions on question-and-answer and thematic supervision of the National Assembly Standing Committee from the beginning of the 15th National Assembly term to the end of 2023.

The question and answer session was broadcast live at 62 locations of the National Assembly Delegation of localities. Attending the question and answer session at the Quang Ninh Provincial National Assembly Delegation were Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; representatives of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and relevant departments, branches and units.

During the program, National Assembly deputies and members of the Government, heads of ministries, branches and central agencies questioned and answered questions on two groups of issues, including: Group of issues related to the fields of Industry and Trade, Agriculture and Rural Development, Culture, Sports and Tourism; Group of issues related to the fields of Justice, Home Affairs, Security and Order, Social Safety, Inspection, Court and Procuracy. The questions were all important and received much attention from voters and the people.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, along with representatives of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and relevant departments, branches and units attended the question and answer session at the Quang Ninh Provincial National Assembly Delegation bridge.

With the intelligence, high sense of responsibility, practical work experience, deep expertise and a firm grasp of the actual situation in localities and bases of the National Assembly deputies, the question and answer session took place enthusiastically, in a constructive spirit; there was a lot of information reflecting the actual situation and many proposals, recommendations and suggestions for the Government, ministers and heads of sectors in directing and operating, overcoming limitations, resolving difficulties and problems, meeting the expectations of voters and people nationwide.

Government members, leaders of ministries, branches and central agencies also demonstrated a sense of responsibility, made the highest efforts, answered frankly and focused on the issues raised by delegates; proposed specific tasks, solutions and implementation deadlines, contributing to the successful implementation of the goals and tasks set by the National Assembly and the Government for 2024 and the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress.

Delegates attending the Quang Ninh Provincial National Assembly Delegation bridge point followed the question and answer session of Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Le Minh Hoan.

This is the first time in the term of the 15th National Assembly that the National Assembly Standing Committee has carried out the "re-supervision" activity, demonstrating the responsibility of the National Assembly Standing Committee in supervising to the end the implementation of the requests and recommendations of the National Assembly and the National Assembly Standing Committee. Thereby, comprehensively assessing and clarifying the difficulties and obstacles in the implementation process; having solutions to promptly remove them, further enhancing the responsibility of the agencies under supervision. At the same time, it also demonstrates the companionship of the National Assembly and the National Assembly Standing Committee with the Government in implementing and carrying out the requirements set forth by the National Assembly Standing Committee in resolutions on thematic supervision and questioning.

The question and answer session at the 36th Session of the National Assembly Standing Committee will take place until tomorrow morning, August 22.
