The fair will take place for 4 days (from April 11, 2024 to April 14, 2024) at the ICE International Exhibition Center - Hanoi Friendship Cultural Palace, 91 Tran Hung Dao, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi.

As a leading tourism promotion event in Vietnam and the region, VITM Fair will create opportunities for Vietnamese and international tourism businesses to promote their brands, introduce products and develop tourism business relationships; Promote growth in all 3 types of tourism: Bringing Vietnamese tourists abroad (Outbound), rapidly increasing the number of international tourists to Vietnam (Inbound) and continuing to develop domestic tourism, contributing to the goal of accelerating recovery, accelerating the development of Vietnam tourism effectively and sustainably in the spirit of Resolution 82/CP of the Government.

In order to support Vietnamese tourism businesses to change their business direction after the COVID-19 pandemic, implementing the policy of the United Nations, the United Nations Tourism Organization (UNT) and the Government in green transformation for sustainable development, VITM Hanoi 2024 focuses on the theme "Vietnam Tourism - Green transformation for sustainable development" to direct tourism businesses, authorities at all levels, sectors and tourists to pay close attention to environmental protection, through specific activities. The fair focuses on activities to contribute to making Vietnam Tourism a green economic sector, on the basis of building green destinations, green products, promoting businesses to train workers with knowledge of green tourism, contributing to enhancing the image of Vietnam tourism in the international arena.
The Organizing Committee of Vietnam International Tourism Fair 2024 said that at VITM Hanoi 2024, many trade, tourism promotion and other activities will take place.
In particular, for commercial activities, there will be more than 450 booths, of which 25% are international booths, tourism businesses and destination management agencies will introduce and provide products directly to tourists and partner businesses. It is expected that about 3,500 Vietnamese and international businesses will come to work with about 80,000 Vietnamese and international visitors to visit and buy products at the Fair.

Within the framework of VITM Hanoi 2024, the Forum "Vietnam Tourism - Green Transformation for Sustainable Development" will take place.
