On September 8, Lawyer Tran Duc Long - Member of the Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice President of the Vietnam Lawyers Association and the working delegation, including: Lawyer Luong Minh Sao - Member of the Party Committee, Head of the Party Committee Office, Head of the Organization and Personnel Department of the Vietnam Lawyers Association; Lawyer Nguyen Hong Tuyen - Member of the Central Standing Committee of the Association, President of the Hanoi Lawyers Association; Lawyer Vo Thi Kim Hong - Member of the Central Standing Committee of the Association, President of the Ho Chi Minh City Lawyers Association; Lawyer Quan Van Minh - Member of the Central Standing Committee of the Association, Head of the Lawyers Association of National Law Firm No. 5; Lawyer Vu The Lan - Member of the Executive Committee, Deputy Chief of Office of the Vietnam Lawyers Association had a working session with the People's Committee of Tra Vinh province and the provincial Departments and branches.

Reporting to the delegation of the Vietnam Bar Association on the organization, operation and results of the Tra Vinh Bar Association from the beginning of the 2021-2024 term to present, a representative of the Department of Justice of Tra Vinh province said: With the close leadership and direction of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the People's Committee of Tra Vinh province, leaders of Party committees and authorities at all levels have paid attention to leading, directing and creating favorable conditions to improve the quality of activities of Bar Associations at all levels, especially implementing Directive No. 14-CT/TW of the Politburo.
At the same time, the Tra Vinh Provincial Bar Association also received the attention and leadership of the Vietnam Bar Association, the Provincial Party Committee, the People's Committee of Tra Vinh Province and the Party Committees and authorities at all levels, and the close and synchronous coordination of the Departments, branches and organizations, creating favorable conditions for the Bar Association to operate.
With the dynamism, creativity, and high sense of responsibility of the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Bar Association has actively contributed to the success of the Association's activities. In addition, in terms of subjective factors, the members in the leadership role have qualifications, capacity, experience, enthusiasm in the Association's work, strictly comply with the regulations of the Association's Charter, and actively contribute to the organization and implementation of the Association's activities.

Accordingly, the Lawyers Association at all levels in the province continues to improve its organization, develop new members and operate more and more effectively. The officials and members of the association at all levels have a firm ideological and political stance, are enthusiastic in the association's work, and successfully complete assigned tasks.
The Lawyers Association at all levels in the province has made many efforts and strived to perform its functions and tasks well according to the Association's Charter and has achieved practical results in all aspects of work, such as: Actively participating in policy and law making; regularly carrying out the dissemination and education of law, legal consultancy and legal aid; participating well in grassroots mediation, resolving complaints and denunciations, contributing to stabilizing the security and order situation and socio-economic development of the province.
In recent years, Tra Vinh Lawyers Association has actively built the Party and government, participated in giving opinions on policy and law making; supervised law enforcement; disseminated and educated the law, provided legal advice, and provided legal aid to people more and more effectively.

Since the beginning of the term, the Standing Committee of Tra Vinh Lawyers Association has implemented many measures to promote and improve the effectiveness of the work of participating in policy and law making, such as contributing to 15 draft laws including: Law on Mobile Police; Law on Medical Examination and Treatment (amended); Law on Prevention and Control of Domestic Violence (amended); Law on Inspection (amended); Law on Implementing Democracy at Grassroots Level; Law on Bidding; Law on Land (amended); Law on Electronic Transactions (amended), Law on Prices (amended);...
The provincial level associations contributed 168 draft legal documents such as: draft Decrees of the Government; draft Circulars of the Central Ministries and branches; directives and resolutions of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, resolutions of the Provincial People's Council, decisions and directives of the Provincial People's Committee,... and many administrative documents of the Provincial People's Committee, provincial departments, district, town and city People's Committees.
Regarding the work of disseminating and educating the law, the Lawyers Association at all levels in the province directs the effective implementation of central and provincial documents on disseminating and educating the law and providing legal aid.
The Tra Vinh Provincial Lawyers Association coordinated with sectors and levels in the province to organize propaganda and dissemination of legal education. The Associations at all levels organized 3,927 meetings with 108,459 people attending to propagate contents related to: Penal Code, Civil Code, Land Law, Law on Complaints, Law on Denunciation, Law on Marriage and Family, Law on Road Traffic, Law on Residence, Law on Militia and Self-Defense Forces and other Laws taking effect in 2023...
Notably, Tra Vinh Provincial Bar Association at all levels developed plans and organized training courses on legal dissemination, education, legal consultancy, and legal aid in 2022 and 2023 for district-level officials and members and 14 grassroots classes in districts, towns, and cities in the province, with 850 officials and members attending.
Lawyer Vo Thi Kim Hong - Member of the Central Standing Committee of the Association, President of the Ho Chi Minh City Bar Association shared her opinions at the meeting and highly appreciated the achievements of the Tra Vinh Bar Association in recent times.
At the meeting, representatives of departments, branches and sectors of Tra Vinh province and the Ho Chi Minh City Bar Association and the Hanoi Bar Association raised many opinions and discussed the organization and activities of the association.
In particular, the representative of the Tra Vinh Department of Justice proposed that the province allow the Tra Vinh Lawyers Association to participate in major projects of the province, thereby promoting the role of the Lawyers Association at all levels of the province.

At the same time, I hope that the provincial Departments and branches will continue to create favorable conditions for the Tra Vinh Lawyers Association to better perform its role and tasks, contributing to the local economic and social development.
Vice Chairman of Tra Vinh Provincial People's Committee Le Thanh Binh accepted the opinions of the Party Delegation of the Vietnam Lawyers Association. He affirmed that the Provincial People's Committee will advise the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to continue improving the quality and effectiveness of the Tra Vinh Provincial Lawyers Association.

Tra Vinh Provincial Bar Association currently has 2 affiliated units, the Provincial Bar Association Office and the Provincial Legal Consulting Center with 9 affiliated branches, 9/9 districts, towns and cities have Bar Associations. From 2022 to present, Tra Vinh Provincial Bar Association has developed 123 members, bringing the total number of members in the province to 1,546 members.
