In order for the cultural cause in general to develop comprehensively, and the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" in particular to go into depth, on November 22, 2022, the People's Committee of Dakrong district issued the Project: "Innovation, improving the quality of building cultural life". With a total budget of nearly 80 billion VND, the Project: "Innovation, improving the quality of building cultural life" in Dakrong district aims to bring the Movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" into depth, with quality, efficiency and practicality.

Linking the implementation of the National Target Program on New Rural Development, the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction and the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas (National Target Program 1719). In particular, the specific target for the period 2022-2025 is to have 70% of ethnic minority households and people in mountainous areas improve their enjoyment and participation in cultural activities.

The cultural values ​​of ethnic minorities in the district are preserved and promoted in association with socio-economic development. Maintain 80% or more of households achieving the title of Cultural, Typical, and Happy Family every year. Along with that, 100% of commune-level units have monthly propaganda content on ethics education and family lifestyle on the grassroots information system... From the specific goals for each stage in the comprehensive cultural development in depth, the People's Committee of Dakrong district has identified culture as the "root" for sustainable socio-economic development.

After more than 1 year of implementing the Project: "Innovation, improving the quality of building cultural life", the District People's Committee has issued a plan; directed the implementation of propaganda work on the content and tasks of the project. Thanks to that, the project has gradually entered the lives of ethnic minorities.

Up to now, the Project has achieved positive results, the whole district currently has 76/78 villages with decisions to recognize village conventions. At the commune level, 13/13 communes and towns in the district have organized integrated propaganda through conferences of Party committees and authorities. Through traditional anniversaries of mass organizations and national solidarity festivals, the tasks and objectives of the project have been promptly conveyed to the people.

The movement “All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho” continues to be focused on. The number of people participating in regular physical exercise in the district is increasing; 100% of communes and towns have planned land for physical exercise and sports facilities. The district People's Committee also coordinated with the Center for Monument Management and the Provincial Museum to collect information to establish scientific records of 5 historical and cultural relics that have been specially ranked at the provincial level.

With the support of the Project's funding, many art forms and traditional performances of ethnic minorities in Dakrong are preserved and their values ​​are promoted.

In particular, with the attention of the District People's Committee and the efforts of the cultural sector, the Arieu Ping Festival of the Pa Co people has been recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. In addition, 17 traditional art troupes have been established in the district in ethnic minority and mountainous villages.

Some types of intangible cultural heritage such as gong culture, folk songs, folk music, folk dances, etc. of ethnic minorities are collected and passed down by artisans. In 2023, the district provided policy support for 6 outstanding ethnic minority artisans to spread and popularize traditional cultural activities in the community with a total amount of 68 million VND.

Also from the project's capital, Dakrong district has supported operating costs for 15 traditional art troupes in ethnic minority and mountainous villages, with a total budget of over 287 million VND. Supported cultural and sports facilities in 36 ethnic minority and mountainous villages with a total budget of over 1.3 billion VND.

Along with Project 6 in the National Target Program 1719, the spiritual life of ethnic minorities in Dakrong has made remarkable progress. The cause of cultural development is increasingly going into depth. The "Movement of the whole people uniting to build a cultural life" is developing more and more widely. "On building and developing culture, Vietnamese people meet the requirements of sustainable development of the country" in the right direction.
