The festival brings together 16 provinces and cities to participate, including: Bac Giang, Da Nang, Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Lam Dong, Lang Son, Nghe An, Quang Binh, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, Son La, Thanh Hoa, Thua Thien-Hue, Vinh Phuc and Quang Tri.
Participating in the festival, Dak Nong Province Art Troupe has 38 members.
Dak Nong art troupe participated in 5 main activities at the “Vietnam Ethnic Culture Festival”. Specifically, the troupe participated in the mass art festival, performing 4 acts: returning to the bon em; gong and folk dance ensemble; antiphonal singing; Kamrooc dance (celebrating the harvest).
Participate in fashion shows about everyday wear, festival wear, and wedding wear.
Performance and introduction of excerpts from festivals and traditional cultural rituals: Reenactment of the "Rau bon tree planting ceremony" (Tăm Blang M'prang bon) of the M'nong ethnic group;
Display, introduce and promote the traditional culture of the province.
Sports activities and folk games: Stick pushing.
With the theme "Convergence of Colors," the Festival focuses on introducing typical contents in the cultural identity of ethnic groups of 16 provinces and cities through many unique cultural, tourism and sports activities.
Within the framework of the festival, there will also be a photo exhibition with the theme "Ethnic minorities in Vietnam accompany the country's development" and an exhibition "Cultural colors of Vietnamese ethnic groups".
