From December 13-16, in Quang Tri, the "Vietnamese Ethnic Culture Festival" took place with the theme "Convergence of Colors".
The festival brings together 16 provinces and cities to participate, including: Bac Giang, Da Nang, Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Lam Dong, Lang Son, Nghe An, Quang Binh, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, Son La, Thanh Hoa, Thua Thien-Hue, Vinh Phuc and Quang Tri.
Participating in the festival, the Dak Nong Province Ethnic Minority Cultural Delegation has 38 members, participating in 5 main activities at the "Vietnam Ethnic Culture Festival".
Specifically, the group participated in the mass art festival, performing 4 acts: "Returning to the Bon Em"; "Going with the Bon Em" (Going with the Bon Em); "Welcoming the Season" (Welcoming the Season) with gongs and folk dances; "Reunion" (Reunion) singing; and "Kamrooc" (Celebrating the Season) dance.
Participate in fashion shows of everyday wear, festival wear, and wedding wear. Perform and introduce festival excerpts and traditional cultural rituals: Reenact the "Rau bon tree planting ceremony" (Tăm Blang M'prang bon) of the M'nong ethnic group. Display, introduce and promote the province's traditional culture.
As a result, the Dak Nong Province Ethnic Minority Cultural Group won 2 A prizes, 5 B prizes and 2 C prizes for performances and activities during the festival.
The two A prizes that the Dak Nong delegation achieved were the Kamrooc dance (celebrating the harvest) and the demonstration of community tour guide skills.
5 B prizes include: gong performance and folk dance "Welcoming the season festival"; antiphonal singing performance "Reunion festival"; performance of traditional M'nong ethnic costumes; reenactment of the "Roa bon tree planting ceremony" (Tăm Blang M'prang bon) of the M'nong ethnic group; introduction of local cuisine.
2 C prizes include: the performance "Returning to my hometown" and the display of traditional ethnic cultural space.
