Within the framework of the Vietnam Space Center project, Nha Trang Observatory - recently nominated for the Top 500 immutable records of Vietnam - began construction in 2014, in the coastal city of Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa). Nha Trang Observatory is considered the first observatory in Vietnam because of its beautiful and unique architecture... including an optical telescope with a diameter of 0.5 meters, a 60-seat planetarium and a 200 m² planetarium.

Nha Trang Observatory started construction in 2014 in the coastal city of Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa).

Nha Trang Observatory has a reflecting optical telescope designed and manufactured by Marcon, a famous Italian brand in precision engineering. The telescope's drive structure is synchronized with the automatic control dome. The telescope is equipped with a camera and a spectrum analyzer with high image and spectral resolution in a wide wavelength range.

In particular, the planetarium at Nha Trang Observatory is designed like a cinema, with a dome-shaped screen. Images and films will be projected onto the dome by a system of 6 high-resolution projectors, providing a realistic 3D effect of the sky and stars.

The planetarium at Nha Trang Observatory is designed like a cinema, with a dome-shaped screen.

The planetarium provides knowledge about astronomy, explains some astronomical phenomena such as the distinction of seasons in a year, the change in position of celestial bodies in the sky, familiar phenomena such as solar eclipse, lunar eclipse... visually through visual effects, helping to satisfy people's curiosity about the sky and the universe, thereby arousing the passion for discovery.

According to the representative of the Vietnam Record Organization: "The following activities can be carried out through the Nha Trang Observatory's telescope system: observing variable stars, thereby conducting atmospheric research (thickness, clouds, fog); measuring the spectra of stars to collect information about the type of star, rotation speed and magnetic field strength on the star's surface; measuring the radial velocity of the host star to search for exoplanets; measuring the rotation speed of some planets; studying the morphology of galaxies; searching for near-Earth celestial bodies, supernovae or optical emissions accompanied by fast radio bursts".

Also in the journey of searching for and nominating Vietnamese records, thereby contributing to promoting the special values of the country and people of Vietnam, on the afternoon of October 22 in Ho Chi Minh City, the Vietnam Record Organization held a ceremony to establish the Vietnamese record "Trainer of transformational leadership courses in the journey of leadership take-off, with the goal of developing capacity for leaders, with the largest number of participants in Vietnam" for record holder Dinh Ngoc Thi. It is known that to receive this Vietnamese record title, in the past 8 years, Mr. Dinh Ngoc Thi and his colleagues have organized more than 1,000 different programs and events, attracting a record number of students to connect across the country.
